Outstanding earphones!

Mee audio M6-BK 3.5mm Gold-Plated Connector Canal Stylish Sound-Isolating Earphones (Black)
Mee audio M6-BK 3.5mm Gold-Plated Connector Canal Stylish Sound-Isolating Earphones (Black)

Pros: Bass - Thumps in your ears when it gets too loud. Mids - Equally balanced in with the bass, doesn't sound muddy at all. Highs - Clear and for the most part, true. I use these for live performances when I play bass.

Cons: Hurt my ears at too high a volume level. Used these as a set of IEM's for a small home studio, and after the fourth hour the tops of my ears hurt where the wire was touching. I tried using these for a live performance on the drums, and they held up quite well, but I did notice I had to turn up my Aviom to compensate for cage acoustics.

Overall Review: These are fantastic. I use them out mountain biking with my iPhone playing music and counting cadence, use them playing bass and drums, and have yet to come across anything other than the previously mentioned comfort issue. The microphone works famously with my phone when making calls. Of note, these DO REQUIRE A BIT OF FITTING! The medium sized buds that come already on the earphones worked fine, but if they get loose, you WILL LOSE VOLUME(sounds like the bass is completely gone from one of them if they're not seated fully). I got scared about this until I realized what was happening on my mountain biking rides. Easy solution - put sunglasses over the wires and they sit firmly and snugly in place, providing me with mile after mile of rocking music. I'd use these if I didn't have my Shure SE2's any day of the week. Snagged these when they were on sale for $9.99 or something like that, and would never look back!

Good earbuds

MEElectronics M6P Black Noise-Isolating Sports 3.5mm Sports Headset with Microphones (Bulk Packaging)
MEElectronics M6P Black Noise-Isolating Sports 3.5mm Sports Headset with Microphones (Bulk Packaging)

Pros: Multiple adjustments for ear sizings Fairly comfortable on the ears, I'm used to wearing Shure SE210 earbuds with just cords over the ear, so the rigid plastic/rubber is kinda annoying at the moment Excellent bass in the ears! After reading other reviews I was skeptical, but so far in all of my music I've had nothing but fantastic sound(including using a completely flat EQ)

Cons: Like I said, the hard rubber over my ear is kind of irritating. Not sure how it'll play out long run listening to movies/music for more than an hour at a time on the laptop/phone. No other complaints so far

Overall Review: These are great earbuds. Would I use them as IEMs? No. I don't feel the flexible rubber would be able to block out enough ambient noise to warrant using these in an enclosed drum booth. Will I use them as a great set of earbuds when I'm riding my bike, or under my helmet on the cycle, until they break, you're da*n right I will!
