Pros: Ability to change DPI on the fly PROFILES! I bought this thing to game with but after realizing I could create multiple profiles I'm using it at work now too. My work profile has macro's like Windows + Left or Right (Which moves my application windows between my two monitors) Windows + D = show desktop, Windows + E = show all drives, Windows + R is a must... you can launch CMD, notepad, or any other app ...try it now...hold down the windows key, press R, then type notepad, then press enter The super sensitive scroll wheel is a plus (especially when reading long word documents or PDF's. It is rechargeable! No more wasting money on batteries. It works on glass and other shiny surfaces unlike most other mice.
Cons: Macro editor is a bit buggy... For some reason it randomly doesn't capture the down state of a key. Work around is to just press the key twice and then go back and delete the invalid key up state. Other tip, if your macro misses steps when running try adding a 50ms delay in between the steps it missed.
Overall Review: Dear Logitech, Please add two features to this beautiful mouse. One, add a small fan inside of it and vents such that a nice cooling breeze can caress my hands. Two, add a very small heating element for those cold winter nights or the long gaming sessions where blood flow is cut off from my hands and it feels like my fingers are about to freeze. Thanks, Possessed Gamer / Cube Monkey (Depending on day / time)
Do not use if range is an issue
Pros: Good quality mouse and keyboard Keyboard is slim and has an excellent set of multimedia / misc hot keys Price...it's cheap Very easy to setup...just plug in the receiver...click connect on each device and poof...it's magic! I gave it three stars because it is advertised as cordless desktop...indicating that range might be an issue...I should of done research before purchasing.
Cons: Do not buy this if you plan on using the keyboard / mouse more than 3 feet from the receiving unit (For example, if you plan on sitting on your couch while the receiver is 8 feet away sitting on top of your HTPC...this thing will not work) I intended to use this for my HTPC but the range on this thing is horrible. At about 3 feet it starts to lose signal and the mouse stutters...and keyboard misses keys.
Overall Review: NmediaPC case System built by FramedPC
Phenomenal asset 3+ years and counting
Pros: I have purchased 74 of these units (at least 50 from Newegg). They are extensively used within my medical billing and coding company (Autimis) and I have yet to have a single die or even remotely malfunction. These come with the current full version of Adobe Standard, remove blank pages, can scan directly into Sharepoint, install within minutes, and literally require no end user training. Press the button...it scans. You can put 100's of pages through them at once although anymore than around 40 and it gets tricky (basically load the next set when there is about 5 pages left to scan...and repeat) These are compact and I would say even portable. I fly with mine occasionally and can even fit it in my carry-on fairly easily. The quality of scan is outstanding. One important note on this pertaining to e-fax solutions. If you use an e-fax solution that converts to a .tif format before sending you may encounter issues where gray scale colors are converted directly to black or faxes look pixelated. This is easily fixed by setting the scansnap to black/white mode. Overall and incredible product, well built, sexy design, bravo Fujitsu you have earned every penny of my almost $30k and I'm sure will earn more.
Cons: I literally have no cons for this product (a rarity) but I will speak to a con some others have posted. This does NOT support twain...interesting how the product description states this. If you need a twain scanner look for the "FI" series of Fujitsu scanners as they support twain.
Overall Review: I'm not sure if Newegg will allow a second review but I've purchased over 50 of them so technically I should be able to review 50 times :). Newegg can you post 50 (or however many I've purchased) ratings for me?
Best scanner out there
Pros: This is hands down the best scanner on the market for the money. I have purchased more than 30 of these and have had many of them in use at my company for over a year. I have not had a single problem with any of them. The software packaged with this is fantastic. First you get a full version of Adobe standard. Second, you get a whole suite of software from Fujitsu that makes business card scanning, document organization, and integration with Sharepoint a breeze.
Cons: If you can't read English very well then you may miss the fact this does NOT support TWAIN. Other than that I have absolutely no cons.
Overall Review: To anyone out there giving this one egg because it doesn't support TWAIN... You need to learn how to shop online better. Read the specifications BEFORE you purchase. Posting a review stating it doesn't support something it CLEARLY states in the details it doesn't support....just makes you look stupid.
Two Dead in 1 year
Pros: Drive was great while it lasted.
Cons: First drive died roughly 8 months in. Second drive died almost exactly 1 year after install. Purchased February 2011...just died yesterday. Just plain unacceptable for drives to die in less than 12 months. What happened OCZ? I still have a half dozen of your original SSD's running strong from 3 years ago...yet these new ones are dying off like crazy. I don't want to waste my time RMA's or sending this one in for repair so I just tore it apart and compared to one of OCZ's models from 3 years ago (the agility EX 60gb). OCZ now uses thinner silicon boards, plastic casings, even their solder points are smaller. OCZ you should be ashamed of yourself and in the end will reap what you sow.
Overall Review: Gotta love how OCZ always responds with "Only 1% of our drives fail....they must have issues reading english... Just look at the 28% of reviews here that are 1 egg due to dead drives. Own up to your mistakes OCZ and fix your quality issues before it is too late. For me, I do not plan on buying another drive from you until I see better reviews.
Had to RMA...
Pros: Computer boots up and you can surf the web without any stability issues
Cons: Once I played or viewed any media requiring more graphics power my system became very unstable... -complete lockups requiring forced shutdowns (holding the power button down) -BSOD's -Nvidia driver recovery errors / warnings (the ones where the screen goes black and then returns with the error)
Overall Review: I know for a fact this card is the culprit because I went out and bought another GT240 card from a different manufacturer and it works flawlessly. -Kinda sucks the first review has to be such a bad one...hopefully others will have better luck if they decide to take the risk. My specs: MSI P55-GD65 Core I7 860 WD Caviar Black 1tb 4gb G.Skill PC3 10666 LG Blu-ray disc/combo Win 7 Home Premium OCZ 700 W Modxstream and was using a GT240 from XFX...now I'm using Galaxy
