Fast and low power

Pros: Low power. This was the factor for me. No need for a 6-pin connector means I don't have to have a gigawatt power supply. Super quiet fan, can't even hear it. I upgraded from a 8600GT and performance is greatly enhanced.
Cons: Nvidia had a free 30 day trial WoW offer with purchase. Newegg isn't supporting that apparently, even though there is a link on nvidia's site to newegg for the offer.
Good, but flexible

Pros: Cheap, fits in a 5.25 slot. Black. Did I mention cheap?
Cons: Screws are proprietary self-tapping style... so if you need "special" screws (read: dell) then you need to play with it a little. It's flexible... probably won't matter on a floppy install but on a media reader you need to push a bit to get the chip to go in... it flexes inwards (again I'm on a dell where it is kind of floating in the channels).
Overall Review: I used this to put into another computer because the media reader I used was short. So it didn't really lock down in Dell's 3.5 slot.
It's a cable.

Pros: It's 15 foot and it works. Viva Huevo Nuevo!
Cons: Beige... I thought that died for a computer color a few years back.
Overall Review: Got this free with a WD hard drive I ordered. I actually needed it since I couldn't pull my computer out without disconnecting the printer... now with 15 feet I'm pulling that thing out daily with new upgrades from Newegg.
Wow, they still make this stuff?

Pros: Works.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: Used this to upgrade my Mom's computer from 256mb to 2GB. Worked like a charm on a Dell Dimension 4500 from years ago. Maybe I can get her on broadband now ;-)
Full size and fast

Pros: Fast. UDMA fast. It's full size (floppy size) so it fits in Dell's slots easily. You could even use it externally since its sealed on on the outside. Has an extra USB in the front.
Cons: Not sure why you need 2 separate USB headers going into the thing. Seems like they could have made the cable with all 10(9) connectors on 1 piece of plastic. The blue light in front is ALWAYS on and BRIGHT. Sure you can paint over it, but why have the light always on if there's nothing inserted?
Overall Review: Well packaged. Sure it's expensive, but in this case you get what you pay for - speed. That's what we are all looking for in a media reader. Let's face it, most of us use 1 type of media from our cameras. All we need is speed.
It is too short!

Pros: It does work as advertised. Looks decent. No huge glaring lights.
Cons: Too short in the back. I have it in an Optiplex 960 and the way the case is designed, it's expecting a full floppy size to hold the back. As it is now, the reader can still slip to the back.
Overall Review: Ended up ordering a different media reader that is full sized and UDMA. UDMA is the future of high speed compactflash so you might as well bite the bullet now. This one will go in a 5.25 adapter in my kids computer.
