XBOX 360 Wireless Adapter!

Pros: Got this on sale for half the cost of the Microsoft XBOX 360 wireless adapter. Using http://www.dd-wrt.com firmware, I flashed this unit (v7 is what I got) and configured it to be a bridge for my xbox360. Check the dd-wrt forums for step-by-step instructions - I followed them and was online with my Xbox in under 20 minutes.
Cons: None so far!
Overall Review: I already have a firewall and an existing wireless network, so this unit was used only to connect my xbox to the wireless network, for half the price Microsoft charges for their wireless adapter. If you want to use it the same way, you will have no problems as long as you follow the directions for the dd-wrt firmware. Beware - if you do it wrong, or use the wrong version, you can brick the unit.
good old comp upgrade

Pros: I have a Dell OptiPlex GX260 (latest BIOS update was 2005 so that tells you how old it is...it is now June, 2012... lol) that I got for free a few weeks ago. It had 512MB of PC2100 266MHz ram in it that I *needed* to upgrade. IDC if it's $50, it is imperative that I upgrade from 512MB to the maximum (2GB) allowed. I put in this ram with absolutely no issues. Opened it up, took out the old, put in the new and the only thing I had to do was at boot-up - to confirm the system configuration changed from 512MB to 2GB. That was it. So, if you have a Dell OptiPlex GX260, throw away your current old slow memory and put in this max speed (for your machine) and size memory and enjoy the extreme upgrade it provides. My machine is my new Free BSD server at home and it welcomes this ram upgrade with open arms.
Cons: No cons as far as I'm concerned. I didn't even need a knife or scissors to open the package, just fingernails to rip it where it said to cut.
Overall Review: Do not like Newegg's new free shipping program, where they use the UPS/USPS integration thing. I ordered a week ago and it's finally here. Back in the day, I'd order something and it would be here next day or the day after next. And free. My order sat 30 miles away for a few days. There's no excuse for that except for the USPS being lazy/underfunded :( Pay the extra few bucks for fast shipping, the same level that used to be free.
Woot, 2gb!

Pros: 2gb dual channel kit, G.Skill brand, excellent price, what more could you want! Went smoothly into my Lenovo 3000 N100 0768-DLU laptop. No BIOS changes or other settings required. Upgraded from my 1gb (2x512mb chips) to this 2gb kit in about 5 minutes flat.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: Vista 64bit Ultimate SP1, Lenovo 3000 N100 0768-DLU laptop. Unplug power, remove battery, unscrew backplate, remove old ram, insert new ram, screw on backplate, install battery, plug in power and boot up! Fast shipping even with Egg Saver option. I placed the order on Monday and the item arrived Saturday via USPS. Thanks again Newegg.com!
Awesome firewall.

Pros: This unit replaced my almost-10-year-old Netscreen-5 firewall at my home. Super nice web gui, telnet & ssh access including menus as well. This is definitely a corporate-level system "toned down" a bit for SatelliteOffice/SOHO/Home use. I've installed and configured many different types of firewall for many companies of every size in multiple locations, and this one is very, very nice in my opinion. This one is installed at my house and handles DHCP (pool + reservations) on my lan flawlessly, gets DHCP Wan address info from my Comcast ISP with no problems, and includes rule making capability as broad or as granular as I'd ever want. All the computer games I've played have had no problems with only the default outbound rule configured (no inbound rules required!), but I did have to forward a few ports to my XBOX in order to get "moderate NAT" rating for compatibility with their online service.
Cons: Compared to my old Netscreen-5 with it's solid metal construction, this ZyWall2 "feels" a bit cheaper due to its plastic case, but it hasn't been a real problem. I have come across zero Cons in the actual function and use of the unit.
Overall Review: I haven't found a way to make rules with Authentication like most firewalls have. Granted, I haven't read the instructions much yet since I have a good understanding of everything involved, but if it's there, it's not easy to find in the web gui. Download & update the Firmware from the web before you do anything! You can download & print the manual before the item is delivered as well - the unit does not come with anything more than a "quick start" printed manual (the older-version manual is included on the cd though). I'd definitely recommend this firewall for everyone, from admins with 10+ years of experience, to a hobbyist/computer enthusiast wishing to use a real firewall.
OCZ+Newegg=woot

Pros: FAST read & write! Included software can partition the drive into a password-protected partition and a "public" partition very easily. Very small, light, lifetime warranty, wrist-lanyard and cap are very nice as well.
Cons: no U3 support. U3 is pretty old already, no clue why not all flash drives at least include support for it. No big deal though, there are a few great portable apps that can be used without U3 (google "portable apps")
Overall Review: 1. Lifetime Warranty! 2. Very fast! 3. Password security! 4. Aluminum Case/Cap 5. USB Extension cable (you can plug the unit directly into your pc, or use the extender cable) 6. LED activity light ~remember to check out Microsoft USB Flash Drive Manager software - free download, great for backups/syncs/etc.
after 11 months...

Pros: Having used this ram for 11 months now, I wanted to send in my review. I've had ZERO problems with this ram in my system. asus p4p800-se motherboard. No problems overclocking, never any crashes - nothing! I'm in the market for another gig of ram now and am leaning towards this: Model #: PQI3200-1024DBH Item #: N82E16820141152 same brand, timing, voltage - just a bit newer model, and at this time $3 cheaper, plus a $15 rebate :) If you're buying ram, buy PQI - awesome quality, stability and price. I hope this review helps you decide which ram to get!
Cons: The packaging is a little difficult to get open. Be careful when opening it so you don't cut yourself or crack the chips!
Overall Review: I also see a nice pair of Mushkin ram but it has no heat spreader. For that reason, and the quality I've experienced in the past 11 months, I'm going with PQI again.
