Pros: Works well- the eSATA interface is well worth the few extra $$$ if you can connect via this interface because the added speed is fantastic when compared to the USB2 interface. Easy to connect and use EXCEPT for the unusable eSATA cable included. Makes duping your portable drive for a faster/larger model swap very easy.

Cons: I had to trim about 1/16 inch from the connector housing of each end of the provided cable to get the eSATA interface to connect- while this is easy to do, unless you know that this is the problem, you might return the entire product for a refund due to this poorly engineered part. (For want of a nail, the battle was lost...)

Overall Review: It would certainly be in the best interest of the manufacturer to correct the eSATA cable problem.

Pros: 10/29/16 I would like to add a note about this product- I contacted the manufacturer about my issues and they were very helpful in trying to assist me with my problem. They tested this item on MacOS Sierra (10.12) and could not duplicate the problems I had. Since I later used the same HDs & CPUs with a different enclosure with no problems we came to the conclusion that I had gotten a defective unit. I have used their older products USB2 successfully for years and so will try this enclosure again in the future. Quality build for the $$$. Nice looking design. Easy to install/swap drives.

Cons: This enclosure is NOT compatible with EITHER my iMac 2014 nor my MacBook Pro 2013 via the USB3 port. While it will run correctly on my older USB2 Mac Pro 2008, it WILL NOT consistently mount/unmount the enclosed drives using USB3 and when restarted from a cold reboot it results in ALL DRIVES MISSING/UNMOUNTABLE/ or listed as FULL. This enclosure appears to be INCOMPATIBLE with my Mac computers via the USB3 interface.

Overall Review: I have run 2 older USB2/eSATA Icy Dock enclosures for several years and am very satisfied with their performance (altho the interfaces do not seem to support drive sleep mode). So I was excited to add a USB3 enclosure for my iMac. So disappointed that I had to return it! However, I must say newegg was very gracious and efficient about returning the drive. It is one of my favorite places to shop tech!

Pros: Interview process makes doing taxes pretty easy. Import of last years data easy and quick.

Cons: Sometimes updater patches are a bit quirky but ultimately succeed.

Overall Review: I switched from the "other" tax program when their prices became too much for the product. I have used H&R Block for a decade now and would recommend it especially if you buy it from Newegg at their sale price.
