KICKS MORE BOOTIE THAN CHUCK NORRIS ON STEROIDS!
Pros: Not upgrading for Vista/DX10 till mid 2007, had Nvidia 7800 GS for a month before this - went from 31 FPS on COD2 w/all goodies turned on to a whopping low 50's, oblivion went from 24 FPS w/HDR to 38. BEST AGP CARD available right now bar none. Sold my 7800 gs on craigslist, never looked back.
Cons: It's agp...
Overall Review: It makes the 7800gs, even the gainward bliss golden sample/goes like hell editions look like a rage/voodoo fx card in comparison. Remember those? Get it if you have AGP, bottom line.
Pros: Fast card, best card for the buck (only 200 bucks after rebate!), stays cool, very over-clocking friendly
Cons: need a good PSU with a free molex connector, make sure it has a good 12v rail
Overall Review: I disagree with all the other guys who say save your money if you've already got a 6800 gt/ultra. I am not upgrading until mid 2007 to PCI-Express and I got this card since for 200 bucks, it was the best AGP card available (only 2 others are faster, the evga OC KO and the gainward bliss which is a hard to get european card, and they both cost a lot more). It was a great cheap way to upgrade and play current games with all the goodies turned up. I play WoW with all the goodies and get about 10-15 fps more than I used to with the 6800 GT, but that could be due to the fact that I'm OC'ing the 7800 with coolbits. This thing is, this card stays relatively cool even after 6-8 hours of extended gameplay (I have it set to automatic OC which only ramps up the card when you are running an application that pushes it). Morrowind scrolls of Oblivion runs smoothly now, even with ultra high def HDR, had to keep it at a lower resolution with some goodies turned off with the 6800 GT. 2 thumbs up!
