Overall Review: Bought the installation kit from OWC to get the custom SATA cable and so forth. I followed their installation video. The drive fit just fine. OSX recognized it and formatted it just fine. And now I have 1TB of additional storage on my 2012 Mac Mini. Very cool.

Pros: lots of juice, compact, nice finish, powerful

Cons: None really. But I will mention that the travel pouch is soft with a good closing string and a clasp but is really only large enough for the battery itself and maybe one of the power cords, you won't get the battery plus the wall adapter into the pouch without stretching it out of shape. I'm not counting this against 5 eggs because I didn't by it for a travel pouch.

Overall Review: This is the 4th RAVPower external battery that I have owned, and they just keep getting better and better. I recommend the brand to any friends that ask. What's in the box: * RAVPower RP-PB22 13000 mAh power battery (lots of juice, and mine was delivered nearly fully charged, I could have used it as-is, YMMV) with Dual output, 2.1 A + 2.4 A, one LED light, charge-check button, and 4-LED (blue) charge indicator. * One small AC wall adapter (mine has US plugs) that takes the standard universal 50/60 Hz, 100-240V power input and has one USB socket for output. I tested the battery with several other USB chargers I happened to have around and they all worked too. I suspect any decent charger with good USB to micro-USB plugs will work fine. * 2 USB to micro-USB power cables (flat / ribbon style), one ~8" long, one ~16" long Travel pouch Warranty card Instruction book (multi-lingual) My battery is black, with a matte finish that won't show fingerprints. The construction is very solid. The box says it has built-in overcharge and short-circuit protection, and it turns off when the connected device is fully charged. I can vouch for the last bit but I haven't had problems that would test the first two. I have other external batteries that claim 500 charge cycles lifetime but this one says it is good for 1000+ recharge cycles with no memory effect. The LED light turns on and off with a double-click of the charge-check button. A little LED light might seem silly but I find it useful. It may not be a powerful flashlight but I routinely take a RAVPower with me when I travel and use it as a night-light in the hotel room. It works great and just sips power from the battery. Charging starts automatically when a device is plugged in. It is advertised to work with a variety of Apple and other USB chargeable devices so I tested against what I had available. I found that it worked with these: iPhone 5, iTouch 4th gen, iPod Classic, iPad2, Nexus 7 tablet, plug-in USB accessories such as a light and a fan, Bose Quiet Comfort 20 in-ear noise cancelling headphones, JBL Charge Bluetooth speakers, Jawbone Bluetooth speakers, Dell Venue11 Pro and powered keyboard (This test impressed me. The Dell tablet came with a special, 24W USB charger and pretty much no other USB charger that I have will charge it up. This RAVPower (with the tablet turned off) did recharge the tablet and the keyboard.) A specific charge test with iPhone 5 it went from 42% to 88% in 60 minutes, to 94% in 120 minutes, and to 100% 140 min. The RAVPower still indicated over 75% power remaining. If you need a battery with big capacity, you would be well served by going with one of these. Plenty of juice to keep you charged up on a long flight or all day while travelling.

Pros: 16G, Encrypted, Works on XP and 7 for sure, hardware encryption is MUCH faster than software only encrypted USB thumb drives. Clean interface, when active is just another drive letter. Wipes itself if someone enters 10 wrong passwords. Very strong metal case. Small. Leaves room for adjacent drives to attach to my laptop.

Cons: The cap is not attached, so be careful with that. Must be connected to a PC (or MAC), don't buy this for showing pictures or videos on your TV. If you want to do that, buy a Corsair Padlock2 with built-in keyboard.

Overall Review: Needing a PC to access the data is really minor for me. I wanted a reliable, hardware encrypted USB drive to replace my 8G Kinston Locker+ 8G (was close to filling it) and this fit the need perfectly.

Pros: encrypted data, use anywhere a USB stick can be used even with no computer present

Cons: a bit pricy compard to, say, Kingston Locker+ line, but those don't work except on a computer

Overall Review: I've used one of these 8G models for nearly 2 years. It has never ever failed to work anywhere I wanted to usb a USB drive, even on a non-computer device like a TV or picture frame. And for what I paid for 8G then you can now get 16G now.

Overall Review: Have used this on several trips. Hold power great. Powers up a wide variety of USB powerd devices, including my iPad2

Pros: Easy to install. Compatible with the older XE102 10M units. When I replaced some of my XE102 units with XE103 units I got 4 to 6 times greater connection speed. A lot simpler than running wire and more secure than wireless.

Cons: You won't necessarily get 85M thruput under all conditions. But you will do better than with the XE102s.

Overall Review: Makes it easy to get Ethernet from the basement to the second floor of my house without running wires. I've used the XE102s for years and they have never caused me any trouble, I am looking forward to the same kind of service from the XE103s.
