Quiet & Cool Running

Pros: No fan to make noise or clog with dust. Low power consumption so will probably work with most existing power supplies. Also less heat in your PC case. 3 year warrantee from ASUS.
Cons: Not for heavy duty games. Does take up two spaces with the large heat sink.
Overall Review: Windows-7-32 bit WEI of 5.5 & 6.8 on a P45 motherboard. Replacing a GF-430 which has a fan. Hope ASUS's $10 rebate comes through.
Does not have XMP

Pros: Seem well built and reliable.
Cons: Does not have any JEDEC or XMP programmed to run at 800MHz. Fasted is JEDEC#4 at 685MHz. Assume made to be used with a very overclocked CPU.
Overall Review: Today Newegg has simular Kingston on sale with the XMP programmed to run at 1600. Ordered two pairs.
Now a fast 10 year old computer

Overall Review: Much faster than a hard drive. So light that I did not need to purchase a 2-1/2" adapter plate and mount it in my desktop PC. To keep my wife's old recipe program, still running a 32 bit operating system. ChrisPcWEI-6.3=7.3 for the hard drive.
OK drive, but don't purchase it in the retail kit.

Pros: This retail kit package only gets you the hard drive in a pretty box with an instruction book but tthe same two year warrantee. I have purchased 5 of them in the retail package and had no failures in the last three years.
Cons: The retail kit no longer included the Seagate Disk Wizard software. The retail kit does not include a SATA cable or the mounting screws. Not a particularly fast drive, have purchased 5 of them in the last few years.
Overall Review: The OEM/bare drive is a better deal if you do not need the instruction book.
Bargin full size system with Win-7.

Pros: Full size BTX case with a 375 Watt power supply. Arrived clean with no cosmetic signs of wear. Motherboard supports SATA. Being Dell, you can download the maintenance manual & diagnostics.
Cons: "Core 2 Dual E6320 " CPU was a slow 1.86Hz which only gave a WEI=4.8. The DVD-ROM is IDE.
Overall Review: Fortunately, it came with an ATI Radeon HD3470 rather than the strange PNY Quadra NVS card I purchased a used "Core 2 Dual E6700" 2.67GHz CPU and WEI=6.1
Inexpensive 1155 motherboard

Pros: Well constructed and clean remanufactured board. Came with all the accessories.
Cons: No DVI or HDMI video outputs.
Overall Review: Would not boot at first. A few days late, reseated the G530 CPU, and all is well. Win-7 WEI=6.3, 7.4, 4.8, 5.7, & 5.9 Purchased for a give away system reusing an old Celeron G530.
MicroSD memory for a new Kindle HD.
Now my wife can save lots of movies with all her books.
