Excellent, but sometimes buggy

Pros: I've never really liked doing multiple monitors. Let's just chalk this up to personal preference, so to be able to have so much area to work with on a single monitor is wonderful for me. I do CAD work for a living, and so I can and do look at this monitor pretty much all day long. Very nice crisp picture, great colors
Cons: My original monitor was just replaced by Dell tech support, as it died, in the oddest of ways. As one other reviewer mentioned, the input buttons sometimes seem to be out to lunch, which I chalked up to somewhat sketchy firmware. Sometimes it would take a few seconds and multiple tries to simply turn the power off. Well, one day I was away for a few hours, and I came back (I work at home alone) and somehow it had switched itself over to the VGA input. Furthermore, when I tried to change it back to the Display Port, the menu would no longer work! The menu button would not bring up the menu, and so the thing was toast. Spent the better part of an hour on the phone with Dell tech support, and they concluded that something had gone wrong with the firmware, and they sent me a new one. Never thought you could lose a monitor due to a firmware glitch, but I suppose there's a first time for everything. I have to say that Dell's tech support was quite good, and very courteous. So, docking one star for reliability, but otherwise it would be 5 stars in my book.
