Impressive
Pros: Fastest CPU I've owned for sure. The machine literally had no hiccups and booted up immediately after we put it together. I have yet to overclock, and can't really imagine why I would need to any time soon. It works flawlessly with the Gigabyte 990FX-UD3 motherboard. While technically the i7 series are faster, but you can hardly argue with the price point. By getting this you're saving $100 on your processor and another $100 on your motherboard compared to Intel. It definitely provides enough performance. The 8 cores are a breeze for gaming and video rendering. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
Cons: None at all. I've seen other people complain about the stock fan, but it keeps the processor at a reasonable temperature without any overclocking. Can't wait to get a new cooler next month and take this over to 4GHz.
Overall Review: I'm an AMD fanboy despite that they don't have the performance crown. Their prices are incredibly fair for the speed and I would prefer to support a business that follows a model ethics strategy. This CPU won't disappoint you if you pair it up with the right stuff. It SCREAMS with an EVGA GTX 670 FTW and 16GB of DDR3-1866.
I was expecting a bit more
Pros: This is by far the best case I've used. The construction is very sturdy, so if you're used to using cheap cases this is a real step up. It's incredibly spacious, cable management was a breeze mostly, I was able to wire everything near perfectly for optimal airflow. I would also like to praise the included fans, they really are high quality with their little control nobs and stuff. I appreciate the LED coloring as well, the computer looks awesome. For a mid tower this thing is a huge, sleek and cool.
Cons: Mine war damaged in shipping, or perhaps I just got a defective unit. The top fan was indented, and while I was able to push it out to where it looks correct, it can still fall back in where you can see the damage. This is a huge pain in the neck because I just got the entire computer built, and I really don't want to take it apart to RMA the case for. I just didn't expect any damage like that for a $100 case. I expect that kind of stuff from Raidmax or Rosewill cases.
Overall Review: The Antec Earthwatts 750W was a really good pair with this case.
Flimsy
Pros: I really like ASUS products. It's a super low price. The drive reads and writes just fine. Sleek and black, the color matches my case just fine.
Cons: The disk bay is somewhat flimsy, I wasn't too happy about that.
Overall Review: I docked 1 egg because it's flimsy.
Legendary branding
Pros: Haven't had it for very long, but Antec is a trusted brand in the PSU world. This 750W seems very strong, the +12V rail on my system is reading off at 12.3V so it definitely has enough juice to pump out for power hungry machines.
Cons: Not modular, which makes cable management a bit annoying. I also don't like the green shade, although I suppose it makes sense since this is an eco friendly unit.
Overall Review: The Earthwatts line up has always been praised and liked due to the fact it's a no nonsense kind of power supply. None of that silly decorative LED or coloring stuff, just an incredibly rock solid and respectable PSU.
