Nice Board.

ASUS M2V AM2 VIA K8T890 ATX AMD Motherboard
ASUS M2V AM2 VIA K8T890 ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Nice board, Sata Raid on it, Nice Price. Also Has 2 IDE headers.

Cons: Watch out about ram! I bought Wintec AMPX Ram and it did not work on the comp. It would not boot up unless I cleared the bios. I called ASUS and they said that asus boards only run well with corsair or kingston ram. And they' re n'vidia boards are even more picky

Overall Review: as long as you know that you will only have a certain type of ram, you will be fine.

Most Critical Review

Ehh. . .

HIS Radeon HD 2600XT 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card H260XTF512DDN-R
HIS Radeon HD 2600XT 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card H260XTF512DDN-R

Pros: It wasn't $400. it worked better than my 7300gs. It was 512MBs of GDDR3. it wasn't huge. it performed on dx9.

Cons: it shows up as unknow PCI Device after i put ATI Drivers on my PC. I knwo it was the video card because i just replaced MOBO, RAM, and Proc. It showed up as a video card too. plus when you use DX 10, it chugs, or doesn't work correctly. This was a porr decision on my part.

Overall Review: I don't recommend it, it could just be this specific card that i have, but i wouldn't chance it again. Go Buy a 9600gt or an 8800gt of your worried about price. They are both better.

Great Case

Thermaltake SOPRANO VB1000BWS Black 0.8mm SECC Chassis, Plastic Front Door ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Thermaltake SOPRANO VB1000BWS Black 0.8mm SECC Chassis, Plastic Front Door ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: SOLID! Heavy, rolled steal, no screws needed. Fans are quiet, lots of room, much bigger than most mid-ATX cases. It has a front fan filter. The USB and 1394 ports are on the top of the case, not the front. The PCI slots in the back are not punch outs, they can be put back in. THIS CASE DOES NOT HAVE LAME LEDS EVERWHERE, which when you grow up as a pc builder, you tend to stay away from that garbage.

Cons: Have fun putting the PSU in the case if you have the mobo in already. If you have an aftermarket heatsync for your proc, its almost inpossible. I scratched up my new 750 watt, trying to get it in, eventually i had to take the heatsync off of the proc to get it in. The USB/1394/headphone ports are a little cheap. It contradicts itself, everything else it very high quality except for this.

Overall Review: I really like this case and i reccommend this to anyone.

Nice PowerSupply

PC Power and Cooling S75QB 750 W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply compatible with core i7
PC Power and Cooling S75QB 750 W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply compatible with core i7

Pros: Hasn't Died Yet, (Better Not for the price). Handles 2 9600gt's, 3 hdd's, and 2 burners.

Cons: the 5.5 powers are a little off, i know that its going to change, but its still a little more than i would like. (5.38) When i put the PSU in the pc, the poder coating scratched off easily, but thats mostly cause it was a tight fit getting in.

Overall Review: Someone said that it does not have the right screw mounts. It does, it just has to be upside down. I put it in initially so that the words on the stickers were not upside down and it looked like the screw holes didn't line up. but when i flipped it, the screws linned up.

I like this card.

EVGA 512-P3-N862-AR GeForce 9600GT Superclocked 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card
EVGA 512-P3-N862-AR GeForce 9600GT Superclocked 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card

Pros: CHEAP, FAST, THIN, not power hog.

Cons: not as good as the 8800gt, but the gt is $240 so im not that mad.

Overall Review: I was testing company of heroes, with one card. I got an average of 59.9 fps, a high of 61fps, and a low of 7fps on the testwith everything on high or ultra except no AA. When I did the test with 2 cards, I got 60 as an average, 61 as a high and 27 as the lowest with the same settings. The I upped the texture detail to max and anti aliasing to 16x and I got the exact same FPS. The second card doesn’t push the fps up, just reinforces the one you have, making the speeds you’re getting possible at a higher setting. for around 300 you can perform like a gts but for 100 bucks less.

Awesome soo far

EVGA 512-P3-N862-AR GeForce 9600GT Superclocked 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card
EVGA 512-P3-N862-AR GeForce 9600GT Superclocked 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card

Pros: Seems nice soo far, just go it in the old box. I'm worried that i might be cutting it close with my 500 watt antec psu. runs great right out of the box. haven't got to test it on some high end games yet.

Cons: . . . .it didn't comei na 2 pack.

Overall Review: BUY THIS CARD! or wait till the 9800
