Pros: -Turns internal drives to external
Cons: -Cheaply made
-Easily breakable plastic
-Unhidden, loose internal wiring
-No padding/cushion or fitted seating for HDD (it just dangles and bangs around loosely inside)
Overall Review: I've found MUCH higher quality for the same, or relatively close to the same, price.
Pros: -Great picture
-Easy to use
Cons: -Doesn't recognize coax as an input in setup (when choosing which input is the cable box in setup the option for just plain coax is missing. very strange considering RCA and composite were still options, along with the usual hdmi and dvi..)
-Sometimes has some hiccups with the wifi despite being ~7 ft from the wireless router (only for a few seconds and only ~once a week or so. fairly typical for most wifi devices, but not when they're so close)
Overall Review: for the price i payed, you can't really beat it
-Windows 7 (win 7 starter, but can be fixed. at least its not win 8..)
Cons: -The 250 HDD provided was made by Hitachi, which means it's almost useless.. (so ~ a year of life in it, if lucky) but i had a SSD laying around so i just mirrored it.
-Insane amounts a preinstalled fluff-ware (~2 hours of uninstall. seriously, it's like whoever set it up put every waste-of-space software on it. Even the virus of an anti-virus McAfee... Ew...)
Overall Review: The price and win7 over win8 make it worth the price. especially if you replace the HDD(with almost any other brand) and add an extra gig of ram.
I'd actually give it ~3.5 eggs (-1 for HDD, -0.5 for fluff-ware)
Pros: Better than WIN8
Cons: -many legacy problems carried over from past WIN-OS's
Overall Review: If a large company makes an OS like this without all the corporate crud that seems to be ladled on MAC and WIN they would take over the market. Linux isn't bad, but no one in my immediate friends/family can use it except me..
Pros: -lots of space and fans
Cons: -fans are low quality and will need to be repaired/replaced after ~1-2 years
-the footing of the tower is made of cheap plastic and breaks super easily, but the tower itself is mostly metal. so, after making new wood feet everything turned out fairly well
Pros: clear picture
no noticed lag
-Never had a problem
-Used as the main OS drive in a specialized RAID config
-Any game i run from it loads in 1/4 the time and my OS boots in ~20 seconds
Cons: -With any SSD on WIN7, be sure to download the SSD fix for Win7 so it can properly delete junk
Pros: -So much space for activities!
-No problems in a year
Pros: had the board for about a year now, no big problems.
Cons: -limited to 2-way SLI, despite having a 3rd slot on the board. -had some trouble charging devices via usb, but all my usb's still work the way they should. kinda worried after reading other reviews..
Overall Review: Surprised to see all the bad reviews, i apparently dodged a bullet.
Pros: -large capacity
-good for normal business computers
-not too bad for gaming
Cons: -slow when reading archived data
-doesn't handle file compression/encryption very well..
-can run anything i throw at it
Overall Review: i wouldn't say its a con on the CPU, but many programs are only just starting to support multi-core processors
Pros: -best graphics card I've ever owned.
-handles 3D like a pro
-upgrade potential (if your motherboard can handle it)
-puts out a fair bit of heat when running ultra graphics on new games
Never had a problem
Cons: none, love it
didn't even last for a full year
Pros: doesn't fall apart
no noticeable quality problems
Cons: none i can think of
Pros: Using this monitor right now! I bought this little guy for $100 on a sale and have been very pleased with its performance. clear as a bell, 5ms lag is un-noticed, and its insanely light. amazing for gaming, not bad for digital design/animating.
Cons: No hdmi, which i knew going into it. That will make upgrading a hassle, but for $100, it cant be beat.
Pros: Pre-built for ease, price isn't much higher that components. Only using it as a work computer, so its almost perfect.
Cons: GPU is underpowerd, which is typical. Windows 8 is probably the biggest down-fall :P
Overall Review: If you're looking for a gaming pc, you'll need to change out the GPU and be fine with not really being able to upgrade (not much, at least).
Pros: low price, good quality
Cons: (very) slight gain lose, but expected.
Pros: low price, high capacity
Cons: slow on older mechines
