EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G2 220-G2-0650-Y1 80+ GOLD 650W Fully Modular EVGA ECO Mode Includes FREE Power On Self Tester Power Supply
EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G2 220-G2-0650-Y1 80+ GOLD 650W Fully Modular EVGA ECO Mode Includes FREE Power On Self Tester Power Supply

Pros: This is a top-tier power supply on Tom's Hardware - and it's most likely the only one you'll ever be see for less than $120. When I first turned it on I was SHOCKED at how quiet the fan was. I wasn't even sure it was running. (And in eco mode, it probably wouldn't have been running at all.) The construction appears to be the most durable I've seen. I'm pretty sure that I don't need to worry about a field goal kicker practicing with my power supply - but if that was a concern, I think this one would probably survive it without blinking. Even the paint seems indestructible. Comes with a nice fabric case (with velcro closure) to keep your spare cables in. A seven-year warranty? Yes, please!

Cons: The only thing I noticed that I could even consider complaining about is that the fan grill is pretty flexible. If you had cables or a component pushing on it, then the grill would drag on the fan. (So when you install it, be sure that pressing up against the bottom side.)

Overall Review: If you don't need more than 650 watts (and unless you're running three video cards at a time, you don't need more than 650 watts) then I think you would be hard-pressed to find a better value on a top-quality power supply. Be sure to do your research on whatever power supplies you are looking at. If you are getting more power than you really need, you're wasting your money. And if you don't see your EXACT, specific PSU on this list, DON'T BUY IT. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html (click on "see full content" in the first post)
