Easy Install, etc.
Pros: The audio is crisp, and believe me when I say that using a dedicated soundcard is a huge improvement over onboard Realtek HD Audio. I have only ever used Realtek HD Audio and ignorance really is bliss. Once you try a dedicated soundcard, especially one like the Sound Blaster Z, you will never settle for anything less. The install of the Soundblaster Z was easy, as was the connection to the front panel header. Instructions were NOT needed, even though they were conveniently included. The light that is on the card is the icing on the cake.
Cons: While I did not expect the OEM version of the card to come with the beamforming microphone, the description said that it would - as a result, I planned by budget accordingly...however, a microphone does not come with the sound card and now I must deal with the extra expense of finding a microphone to game with. "Beamforming microphone" is a lie. The description on the first panel of the newegg info page was probably copied and pasted from the retail version's newegg page.
Overall Review: Just buy it, it's a good card.
Pros: Despite being a TLC-based SSD, the Samsung 840 EVO beats the Samsung 840 and falls just shy of the MLC Samsung 840 PRO - the 840 PRO is considered a top-of-the-line SSD in today's market (to my knowledge). Because of Samsung's new RAPID technology in the 840 EVO and I'm sure many other improvements, the EVO is a competitor with MLC SSDs in the top-range. This is a NEW product, that's why there aren't many reviews, but I assure you, the EVO will not disappoint. I have all of my Steam and Origin games loaded up on the EVO and I am happy with the results that I am getting with regard to game load times, etc. The Samsung 840 EVO also comes with additional Data Migration and SSD benchmarking/management software (Magician) which was of no use to me, but will be of use to anyone who needs to migrate their OS/programs to a new SSD. I highly recommend this SSD - plug it in to your motherboard (SATA III) and PSU and you'll be good to go. I felt the SSD after some use and it wasn't even hot!
Cons: It performs as advertised. No cons.
Overall Review: Buy it, don't be discouraged just because there aren't many reviews on this product yet!
For the money, a good buy
Pros: This should not be a one-time speaker purchase. If anything, it should be a stepping stone for purchasing an even better speaker setup. That being said, I'd definitely recommend these speakers for anyone who'd like to listen to music, watch movies, or game without wearing a headset because one in a while, it gets tiring and can hurt. Sound quality wise, there is a knob to change the bass, etc., but compared to higher-end stuff this is expected. Setup was as easy as plug and play, and the distancing between the two speakers for a typical computer setup is adequate. There is really not much else to say other than that you get what you pay for. Entry-level speakers. I would recommend at least an entry-level sound card and maybe some higher end headphones to go with this product.
Cons: Sound quality can always be improved, but it's so cheap you can't expect much!
