Decent drives

Pros: SATA 3Gb/s, NCQ
Cons: Need to download Hitachi Feature Tools to enable 300MB/s A little noisy
Overall Review: I purchased 2 of these and have them set up in a RAID1 array. Make sure you download Hitachi Feature Tools. This will let you enable the drives to run at 300MB/s. The drives are a bit noisy but with the case on, they are not that bad. Also, in Hitachi Feature Tools, there is an option to reduce the noise on the drives (by giving up a little performance). At one point on the scale, the noise is noticably reduced.
Like below, when it works, it's great..

Pros: Fit in my Aspire Qpack case without any problems. Installing the drivers on CD was extremely painless. No problems with the board WHEN it is working.
Cons: Unplugged the PC for the first time in a couple weeks and now it won't POST. Everything leads me to believe it is a problem with the motherboard.
Overall Review: Got it POSTing again by using the tip from (partsman1130, 12/19/2005 5:40:19 PM). After unplugging, plug it back in, hold the power button on (it will turn on and then off), release, and then press the power button again. I'm going to contact Gigabyte about this issue. This is the first time I've had a problem with the motherboard and I've been building my own PCs since the 80s..
Good stuff.. No problems

Pros: Everything has worked perfectly. I have no intention of OCing but it's good to know that it works well for that. The heatsink was easy to install.
Cons: None
Overall Review: Everything you need is included. After reading the manual, I thought I needed some thermal compound. Upon reading the reviews here, I realized the thermal compound is already applied on the botton of the heat sink.
Not bad..

Pros: Everything works! Nice front ports (2 USB, 1 Firewire, Audio) and 2 temp sensors with LCD. Case design is nice with decent airflow.
Cons: Construction isn't all that great and it's tricky to get the case to seal well.
Overall Review: Great value for the price! Keep in mind, this is much bigger than the little Shuttle case. But it's a whole lot smaller than my current tower.
