Pros: A very fast SSD and at the time I purchased it was a good deal. Arrived in two days as predicted. New egg has awesome super fast service! :D I bought it to replace my notebook's old HDD and mainly for a performance boost. Will update when the change over is complete.

Cons: Here is the real issue, for some reason the SSD was shipped in an envelope and not in a box with protective padding. The SSD box was crushed (visual crease marks on the box!!) when I got it and the envelope was dirty and marked up. Now I am just sitting here wondering why my mouse pad got super protection in a huge sturdy penut filled box, but my SSD that cost way more received hardly any shipping protection at all?? what gives?? Now I am concerned about how much stress the SSD was put under during shipping and if that will affect its overall life. The SSD seems ok, but tests will need to be performed to make sure. I can only hope that the ram I ordered was shipped in something a little more ..protective.

Overall Review: I love newegg and wouldn't shop anywhere else.. but this time around I am a little disappointed in the packaging choice and hope there are no serious consequences to the package being crushed.
