Great MX Red Keyboard

Corsair Vengeance K70 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard - Red LED - Cherry MX Red Switches
Corsair Vengeance K70 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard - Red LED - Cherry MX Red Switches

Pros: Excellent build. The metal backing of this keyboard is as good as it gets. Nice layout. I didn't want extra function keys or to give up the number pad. LEDs look great.

Cons: Other reviews seem to note that the blue LEDs can go out. I got a red keyboard and so far so good. Loud compared to a membrane keyboard. You can get o-rings that'll drop the sound down a little as most of the noise is made from the contact of the plastic switch and the key.

Overall Review: I looked around and tested a few keyboards and this one appeared to be the best balanced mechanical keyboard for my needs. If I would type more on this PC I would definitely go for the blue switches but they're a little too loud for the increased typing speed.

Most Critical Review

Awful

BUSlink 1TB USB 2.0 3.5" CipherShield AES 128-bit Encryption External Hard Drive CSC-1T-U2
BUSlink 1TB USB 2.0 3.5" CipherShield AES 128-bit Encryption External Hard Drive CSC-1T-U2

Pros: Umm.. it generally works for a bit after you first receive it.

Cons: These drives have proven to be the most unreliable piece of hardware I've ever encountered. We purchased several of these throughout the year and have had a failure rate of about 50% (6/12). What prompted me to write this review is I'm currently loading the drives with data sans the key. That's right, no key. I'm guessing this drive will fail as well and I'll be forced to reload 1TB of data onto it.

Overall Review: I'm pretty much done implementing a TrueCrypt software to our problem. Avoid these things at all cost. I've only used the 1TB version but from what I've seen this review should probably apply to all BusLink products. They are pieces of junk that have cost me DAYS of work and quite a bit of face in our customers eyes.

Good Stuff

acomdata Tango TNGXXXUSE-BLU 2.5" Blue SATA USB 2.0 & eSATA External Enclosure

Pros: Works as advertised. Looks pretty slick.

Cons: The mechanism to hold the drive is alright but could be better.

Overall Review: eSata is the way to go. Just make sure you enable ahci and have the right driver support.
