Most Favorable Review

This is an awesome product, setup is a breeze and it works phenomenal!

TP-LINK RE355 AC1200 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Range Extender
TP-LINK RE355 AC1200 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Range Extender

Pros: Literally one-button setup. All I did was plug this in, hit the WPS button on my router, hut the WPS button on the Range Extender - and BAM! done! Seriously THAT simple! Also has a web UI for additional configuration if you're a power user (like myself). Added gigabit Ethernet port is also a HUGE plus!

Cons: Doesn't cook me breakfast, had to find a girl to date and convince I needed regular feedings

Overall Review: Seriously this thing is so simple to setup, and the addition of a gigabit Ethernet port is really awesome. I'm currently using this to provide my parent's house with WiFi from across a field. The extender is 307' away inside of a barn, and the house is 168' from the barn and has full WiFi coverage.

Not worth it

CM Storm Devastator - LED Gaming Keyboard & Mouse Combo (Blue LED Model)
CM Storm Devastator - LED Gaming Keyboard & Mouse Combo (Blue LED Model)

Pros: It kinda looks cool.

Cons: So many to list on such a simple device! First off, the mouse was completely DOA, and reading more reviews on the internet this seems to be a common problem. It cost me more to ship the mouse back for an RMA, than I got as a rebate back to begin with, and almost the entire purchase price of this set. The backlight is off by default, which means you have to turn it on with every boot or wakeup. Scroll lock turns the backlighting on and off. I mean, really? You can add buttons for media controls but not a dedicated button or switch for the backlighting? You have to tie it to the scroll lock key? Backlighting is horrible, it's hard to properly read the keys because more light comes out from around the keys than through them, AND they're unevenly lit. RMA process so far has been over a month for the mouse. Still haven't received it back.

Overall Review: I own two other backlit gaming keyboards, a low-end Microsoft keyboard and a high end Corsair keyboard & mouse setup. Both of those companies got it right when designing keyboards, CM does not. I hate this keyboard so much that I don't even use it. The mouse? Well it never worked and it's still under the RMA process so I can't use it. Although, from the reviews - when I get it back it could very well also be DOA, or only last a couple days or weeks at the most. And who knows about the rebate, I'll be surprised if i ever get that.

Good cooler with a fan swap

Cooler Master MasterLiquid Lite 240 AIO CPU Liquid Cooler, White LED Pump, FEP Tubing, Dual 120mm Air Balance MF, Dual Dissipation Technology LGA 1700 Compatible
Cooler Master MasterLiquid Lite 240 AIO CPU Liquid Cooler, White LED Pump, FEP Tubing, Dual 120mm Air Balance MF, Dual Dissipation Technology LGA 1700 Compatible

Pros: > Cools very well > All-In-One design means simple installation > Good Cooler Master warranty! > Quiet as most temperatures (see cons) > Pump logo lights up

Cons: > No RGB lighting (Get the RGB kit!!!) > Fans are godawful and should be replaced > Hoses are stiff, kind of difficult to position properly

Overall Review: I'd love to see clear hoses and UV reactive coolant but I'm just being picky

This printer blew my mind

HP ENVY Photo 6255 Wireless All-In-One Color Inkjet Printer
HP ENVY Photo 6255 Wireless All-In-One Color Inkjet Printer

Pros: > Easy setup on my wireless network > Super easy printing from my phone > Ability to print from anywhere I have an internet connection > Able to send a file to an email address which prints to this printer > Great scanner quality > Really easy to scan to any computer on my network > Prints AMAZING pictures! I have a wide-format photo printer ($$$) and this has better quality > Decent touch screen > Duplex prints without large rear duplexer add-on

Cons: > Using the app the setup was quite tedious, I prefer manual setup. App setup was easy though > No Ethernet jack, wireless only > Chews up ink printing photos > Scanner doesn't handle negatives > No NFC > No USB

Overall Review: This printer really impressed me, I just wish it had a backlight so I could scan my old negatives!

Good candidate for the recycling bin

GAMDIAS Hephaestus P1 USB Connector Circumaural Headset
GAMDIAS Hephaestus P1 USB Connector Circumaural Headset

Pros: Nice braided USB cable w/ Velcro for wire management

Cons: > Headphones don't fit and will just fall off your head (size adjustment doesn't stay, no left/right/up/down movement) > Force feedback is barely noticeable at full volume > Unnecessarily extremely large control too close to headphones and gets in the way constantly > Sound is extremely "tinny" like it's coming from a speaker in a coffee can > You can buy a pair of $1 headphones at the dollar store that sound better than these >Website is terrible -Primary download link doesn't work, secondary download link is outdated and software is broken, full install defaults to c:\hrea -Portable version of software doesn't work, software from the first download link crashes, 2nd link opens but is just as broken as the install -Drivers from primary link don't have a clear installation method, and trying to "wing-it" didn't work. secondary link for drivers link to portable version > Since there's no working software, RGB isn't configurable & virtual surround does not work. low end leaves a lot to be desired.

Overall Review: These are the worst headphones I've ever had in my life. They're uncomfortable, the little bit of adjustment they have doesn't work, the sound is terrible, and comparing them to $1 dollar-store headphones is an insult to dollar store headphones. I'd give them away, but then I'd have to deal with someone complaining to me about how terrible these things are.

Beautiful low power RGB fans

CORSAIR ML140 PRO RGB, 140mm Premium Magnetic Levitation RGB LED PWM Fan, CO-9050078-WW. 2-Pack with Lighting Node PRO.
CORSAIR ML140 PRO RGB, 140mm Premium Magnetic Levitation RGB LED PWM Fan, CO-9050078-WW. 2-Pack with Lighting Node PRO.

Pros: - Aesthetically pleasing (even when powered off) - RGB options and patterns are nearly limitless with included software - Ability to make your own RGB profiles for endless light shows -4 RGB LEDs each independently controlled - Installs onto spare USB header on your mainboard (or standard USB) - Fans startup on very low power, so you can spin them super slow - Slightly quieter than your normal fans - 5 year warranty

Cons: - Very pricey - A lot of wires

Overall Review: installing these fans required a complete teardown of my tower, as wire management is kind of a burden. Each fan has two small wire harnesses, one for power and one for the LEDs. Then you have the primary control box with the USB cable, and the secondary control box the fans plug into. This quickly makes it troublesome to hide everything out of site, and would be best suited for a fresh build.
