Pros: The effects in games are amazing. Even stepping up from an Audigy 2 I noticed a huge different. The surround sound between the front and rear speakers is much more pronounced. With the Aud2 sounds would come from either the front of back with just the volume adjusted. With the x-fi both speakers are mixed.

Cons: The lineup of cards that they have is confusing.

Overall Review: Who would have thought I you would need a heatsink on your soundcard someday?

Pros: Small, light, no power adapter needed. The cable has 2 USB plugs on the end if one doesn't supply enough juice for the drive. Even has a carrying case and a cloth to wipe of grimy finger prints.

Cons: really none, except I sort of hate blue LED's but that's just a minor gripe.
