Cons: As others have written, this drive is pretty loud. It would be annoying, even obnoxious, if it were near my desk. But I put it in an enclosure and use as a backup drive, only connecting occasionally. This is really a bulk server drive so if you want quiet don't buy this one.

Overall Review: Fine drive, don't buy if you want quiet.

Pros: Works with Linux Good audio quality Don't need to be that close. I'm using for video chats with the microphone setup offscreen

Cons: Has been a bit of an adjustment to work with the ultrawide aspect. I have a laptop plugged in to this monitor. When I use the laptop screen I make all windows full screen. Then, when switching to the monitor, I have to unmaximize windows and resize them. Not the end of the world and I've gotten used to it, but sometimes I think maybe it would have made more sense to just setup two or three standard monitors instead.

Overall Review: I'm basically enjoying this monitor for the most part

Pros: Stupid me, I was half paying attention and ordered SAS when I need SATA. The company very graciously let me return it. 5 starts for the company, I don't know about the drive.
