Solid, well designed, looks great

Pros: Solid construction, toolless design, sideways-mounted HD bays, aluminum bay covers on front all lined with filtering foam. USB, headset, and power switches on top/front.
Cons: Case surface shows more fingerprints than the FBI.
DOA

Pros: Controls are simple, clear instructions. Build quality seemed good.
Cons: Thermometer consistently read over 1,000F (yes, a thousand) for people and over 97F when measuring any object in a 73F room. Repeated measurements of the person or thing would vary several degrees when taken just seconds apart (it has 2 modes: people or objects). So it's always wrong and inconsistent to boot.
Overall Review: Despite quality appearance, the item simply cannot be used. Given how hard it was to actually find a thermometer during this COVID-19 outbreak it's a heckuva disappointment that the only one I could find was DOA.
Great performance, noisy under load, died after 6 months

Pros: Plays latest games on high settings, looks great. Good bang for the buck.
Cons: Under load, fan gets very loud. Hardware failed after 6 months with "red dots" problem. This is usually due to solder connection failure as the card expands & shrinks during heating/cooling cycles. My first Nvidia card in 15 yrs and I guess it was a mistake. Now starting the whole manufacturer-warranty thing.
Overall Review: Do not recommend purhasing due to product failure.
Pretty... pretty useless.

Pros: Great screen, sturdy, looks good.
Cons: Cannot hibernate/sleep as it locks up nearly every time on wakeup. Touchpad driver will spontaneously run 99% CPU and basically disable the laptop. No windows or driver DVD, you have to burn your own.
Overall Review: Very unreliable, locks up about 50% of the times it is used. (all drivers up to date, bloatware removed, nothing else installed). If I could return it I would, I'm about ready to use it for target practice. I loved ASUS components before now, but this laptop is junk.
Good PS for the money

Pros: Tons of connectors, dual fans, very quiet.
Cons: Had to be mounted upside down due to position of screw holes. Fan grill screws were also in the way of the case.
Quiet, looks great

Pros: Looks great, moves a lot of air, and is nearly silent.
Cons: No mark to indicate airflow direction; be careful you don't mount it backwards (like I did).
