What are you getting? VALUE
Pros: + Under $200 + Relatively Low energy Requirement + 2GB of memory compared to similar cards + Averages 30FPS on Medium Settings for most games I play (World of Tanks, Ark:Survival)
Cons: + Needs Power Connector (will explain)
Overall Review: So, I accidentally got this version of the GTX 750 instead of the regular. The Ti with overclocking from ASUS is definitely a happy investment BUT I was originally looking for the regular. Why? Power. I have a basic ASUS MB32 Tower (Like $500 from Best Buy - includes keyboard, mouse and an A10-6700 processor) because I needed a computer quickly and cheaply early this year. I was looking for the regular 750 because I only have a 400W power supply and no room to upgrade it so when this came to my door I realized I was a bit done over. Though I got a Star Tech 2 4-pin to 6-pin PCI-e connector to connect from my power to the card and it's worked WONDERFULLY and reliably since. NOTE: I'd suggest StarTech and using the dual 4-pin to one 6-pin connector. I bought a 1 4-pin to 6-pin connector from Koolertek and it was both Ridiculously unreliable (broke in 5min) and it only supplied half of the necessary power through one 4-pin. Now I know. Great investment though!
An overall disappointmen
Pros: Graphics Card 840M, Tactile Keyboard, Great Monitor, Best audio for $1k range
Cons: Hard Drive is slow as could be (kills the capabilities), AC3160 Wireless adapter is 50% accurate at best, MSi s=customer support treats you like you are ignorant.
Overall Review: Despite this laptop coming to me with the functionality of a chromebook (applications constantly crash) the worst of it is MSi customer support treats you like you are ignorant of even the most basic computer functionality. I was essentially asked (comically even) "Have you turned it off and on again?" I never felt like they cared about my technical issues and I was in fact a bother. Perhaps they are having so many technical issues they cant afford to have proper customer service. So instead of sending this laptop in for possible repair (which I've tried everything I know plus got my programmer friend to help) I'm returning it. It was a good laptop... for a week. If you get an MSi you HAVE to get the GT72 otherwise its not worth it. Just gonna build a better desktop with my refund.
