Great deal

Hitachi GST Deskstar P7K500 HDP725032GLA360 (0A35411) 320GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Hard Drive Bare Drive
Hitachi GST Deskstar P7K500 HDP725032GLA360 (0A35411) 320GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: Works as its supposed to, right out of the box. No issues at all. I heard about Hitachi being the worst, but I dont see it. If anything, I think its the best hdd I have in there right now (2 WDs, 2 Maxtors, 2 Seagates)

Cons: NONE, BUY IT.... Great for the money.

Not for a DFI

APEVIA WARLOCK POWER ATX-WA900W 900 W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Active PFC Power Supply
APEVIA WARLOCK POWER ATX-WA900W 900 W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Looks great. Fantastic in terms of design. Plenty of molex connectors and enough SATA to go around. Surely a PSU that will fit some peoples preferences and will work in most systems without trouble.

Cons: Not Modular. Left with way too many cables running around the system. Doesnt work well with the DFI LP UT P35-T2R in my neighbors computer. (Couldnt test mine as it came to me DOA, but looking back, it may have just been this power supply that made me believe it was DOA.) I left it in the system overnight, it ran fine. Next morning, he played a few cames and it crashed the system within 10 minutes. Wouldnt reboot for 30 minutes and crashed again.

Overall Review: I gave it a 3 simple because Joshua at the Call Center was very understanding with me and worked with me on getting the 15% restocking fee waived as well as checking with me on status of my RMAs. Newegg has the best support bar none. Neighbors system: DFI LP UT P35-T2R, Intel Q6600, 2 ASUS 3870 in Crossfire, 4GB OCZ ram and 4 500GB WD Sata. Mine had very few differences, fewer vids and hdds, and this PSU. His was a Silverstone which has been a champ since he got it (which is what I'm ordering now)

Love it

SAMSUNG EcoGreen F4 ST2000DL004 2TB 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive
SAMSUNG EcoGreen F4 ST2000DL004 2TB 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: Decent speed Not half bad on random seeks for a 2tb drive. Great drive, 5 bought at once, none are DOA, none have any issues at all.

Cons: The $79 deals always have a limit of 5. I wanted 10 more to go with the 5 I have now. But it told me no and dropped it to 5. Cant win em all I suppose

Overall Review: Buy it, but update the firmware. I wasnt bothered by this bug, and none of my data was. 4 of these drives sit in a hardware raid 5 array and all the data is perfectly fine. Still havent updated the firmware on these drives as theyre in a live system. When my new 5 arrive, I'll move the data and update the firmware, but no need at the moment.

Works as expected

Patriot PBO Core Box Office All-in-one 1080p Full HD Media Player with HDMI PCMPBO25 Black
Patriot PBO Core Box Office All-in-one 1080p Full HD Media Player with HDMI PCMPBO25 Black

Pros: It does what it's supposed to. 1080p without issue. No complaints on the product itself. The fan is loud when your within a few feet of it, but on a couch, across the room, it's perfectly fine. When a show is going, you wont hear the fan, even at 2ft, assuming your unit is near the speakers to some degree.

Cons: The default interface sucks. Navigation is difficult, even on the PlayOn! firmware I'm running. Navigating 200+ movies can be painful.

Overall Review: For what it does, it's worth what it costs. I have no complaints about the product itself that would keep my from buying it. I wish it were more like an ion system where I could browse the web if I'm bored, but I should have just bought an ion system for that. I got this as a quick alternative to my laptop as my wife has it on vacation. It works, it does what I need of it and hasnt hassled me yet.

Good for the money

Logitech Premium 350 USB Connector Circumaural Headset
Logitech Premium 350 USB Connector Circumaural Headset

Pros: Sound quality is better then expected for the price. Mic is clear as can be. Generally, when talking into the mic while someone else keys their Ventrilo w/ their audio being pushed through speakers and a boom mike, I can hear myself typing and my music pumping away in the background. The mic is well enough designed that in nearly 2 years of ownership, I have yet to get one complaint of someone not able to hear me. The price rocks. I didnt get these from Newegg, but I noticed only 7 reviews on them. My wife picked them up at a local shop for around 18.99 or so as a gift for my new computer I was getting ready to build. She's cheap in the sense of where she spends her money, so she picked these. The cord itself, below the volume control, is well made and reasonably thick. It isnt wrapped in anything, its just plain rubber. But in almost 2 years of rolling over it with my chair wheels on carpet, it hasnt cracked yet. (It's plugged into a side USB on my system, which is on the f

Cons: There is only 3 things I disliked about these headphones. 1. They get very uncomfortable after a few hours. The longest I went with them before needing a break was around 5 hours at PDXLan. By then, it was time for a bathroom break and lunch break anyways. 3 hours is a good limit. Take 10 minutes, rub your ears for a second, and you'll be fine. 2. The volume button is at a weird location. Too far down the cord to be perfect. When clipping it to a shirt pocket, the slack on the line annoys the hell out of me. The solution i found was to tuck the cord itself into my shirt bottom to keep the cord from falling due to the weight of the thicker lower cord. To give an idea of how far down this really is, the mic control sits next to my stomach when i do this, sitting straight up. I'm 5'11, its a good foot and a half or more down to the volume control. 3. The light on the volume control is pretty bright. If you mute the mic, it blinks. It's annoying as can be.

Overall Review: I like these. I'm writing the review because I'm looking for a new set of headphones for my next system build. So far, none look a whole load promising. In my opinion, the sound quality is above average, the mic quality rocks, and the thick lower cord is a plus. The price is great, and it's a Logitech, so generally a good product. Now, I didnt have an issue with a busted earphone, or mic, or light on the volume control. It worked, out of the box. It's worked, for almost 2 years of almost daily use. It's rare that I dont use these at least once a day. If you need a cheap replacement pair for use, with a good mic, these work. If you can afford to spend more for the comfort of a soft pad, go for it. But for the money, and the length of life I've gotten so far, I'm not complaining. I plan to pickup a new headset soon, but these will be kept as a backup pair because I know they work, and they have yet to fail me, even once.

ROCKS...

Logitech G15 2-Tone 104 Normal Keys USB Wired Standard Gaming Keyboard
Logitech G15 2-Tone 104 Normal Keys USB Wired Standard Gaming Keyboard

Pros: The best keyboard I've had in a long long time. The LCD works in windows without an issue. LCDstudio is a bit of a pain. It works in Linux with a little bit of patience and effort, but it works. In fact, I like using it on linux more then on windows, dont know why.

Cons: The color. They need to make a blue one. I wanted the V1 just for the blue, but V2 is fine I suppose. Just wish I could get rid of the orange and change the color. It works I suppose, since my case fans are all Blue and my monitor power button is blue, and orange... Win some you lose some.
