ATX Mini

Cooler Master Elite 360 RC-360-KKN1-GP Black Steel / Plastic ATX Mini Tower Computer Case
Cooler Master Elite 360 RC-360-KKN1-GP Black Steel / Plastic ATX Mini Tower Computer Case

Pros: Easy install of HD and optical drive with pressure fit side rails. Good ventilation. Plenty of space for fans. I used only the top fan which came with the case. Front mounting of full ATX power supply is handy.

Cons: None

Overall Review: Do not install interface cards until you mount power supply. Even a small ethernet card interfered with the power supply install. Not a big deal just an FYI.

HTPC

APEVIA Black / Silver SECC Steel / Aluminum X-MASTER-AL/500 ATX Media Center / HTPC Case
APEVIA Black / Silver SECC Steel / Aluminum X-MASTER-AL/500 ATX Media Center / HTPC Case

Pros: Price, front panel and top are easily removed. It is a cheap functional case.

Cons: Mounting disk drive is a challenge. Throw away the 500 watt power supply that comes with the case. It weighs about 1/3 of a $100 power supply. I have used Corsair, Antec, and Enermax power supplies and would not waist good components on a cheap supply.

Going strong after 1 yr

Antec BP550 Plus 550W Continuous Power ATX12V V2.2 80 PLUS Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply - Intel Haswell Fully Compatible

Pros: Have owned this for over 1 yr. +12V Runs at 11.99, 3.3V running at 3.28. The modular design is great for reducing case clutter. Cable a long enough. This unit is installed in a Antec 902. It had been in a Antec 900. Have plenty of power for the following: Asus P5QL Pro, Asus Xonar DX, (2) WD RE3 drives, Core 2 8400, CD/DVD Burner, Cosair DDR2 8500 (8GB), Corsair H50 water cooler, Antec 902 fans, ATI Radeon 4850.

Cons: None

Antec 902

Antec Nine Hundred Two Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Antec Nine Hundred Two Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: I own the 900 and 1200. This has all the features of the 1200 less 3 bays. Cable management is superior to the 900. The all black interior finishes the case. The 902 has room for 8 cards not 7. This extra slot creates a space between the motherboard and power supply. It's very useful if you have a card in the last slot of the motherboard. There are slots for cables to enter/exit, one on the bottom near the power supply, two on the side, and one at the top. you should be able to run all you cables through the back of the case. Unlike the 900 the back panel area is wider and easily accomidates all routed cables. Like the 1200 all 902 fans can be controlled from outside the case. The 902 has fan filters on the front and side panel fans. The airflow in this case will keep your components cool. Core 2 8400 88F, WD drives 72F, Radeon 4870 102F, MB 86F. For a few extrabucks BUY the 902. I have been a customer of newegg for over 7 yrs. They are my number one choice

Cons: None

HTPC Spend the extra money

APEVIA Black / Silver SECC Steel / Aluminum X-MASTER-AL/500 ATX Media Center / HTPC Case
APEVIA Black / Silver SECC Steel / Aluminum X-MASTER-AL/500 ATX Media Center / HTPC Case

Pros: Price

Cons: Regret buying this case. I won't use the power supply. It is too cheap. The case is a challenge to assemble (this was about the 15th pc I have built). The optical drive is extremely difficult to line up. The case fit and finish is marginal.

Overall Review: If you going to build a new PC spend the money on the case. I will be ordering a new one as this case has been a big disapointment. My fault...you get what you pay for.
