More Battery Life for your PSP
Pros: 400 more MA for your battery pleasure. The original battery that came with my Launch PSP was 1800ma, this one is 2200ma so that turns out to be between 15 and 20% more capacity by my math. The good news is that in reality it seems to be MUCH longer. I can now watch two full length movies from the Memory Stick before having to swap batteries and gaming sessions are extended by at least a couple of hours. For example, when playing Gd of War I was getting at most 1.5 - 2 hours of gameplay before I had to plug in, now I am getting 3+ hours out of the same game. Internet browsing or WiFi use also seems to be much longer with this battery in place. It fit perfectly into my PSP-1000, no bulge and I didn't have need for the included covers (I suppose they are for the slim model) but I kept them anyway in case I upgrade.
Cons: Might be a tad heavier than the 1800ma battery. The price is a little steep but hey, isn't everything that is proprietary?
Overall Review: If you have an aging PSP battery that doesn't hold as much charge there's no reason not to step up to this better and longer life battery.
Seems Very Unstable for the Money
Pros: Great Framerates on top new games like The Witcher 3. Plays everything i"ve thrown at it so far very well. Not the top dog of course but still, for the money it makes all of my games come alive and makes me want to purchase PC games instead of Xbox one.
Cons: The card has shown serious instability. I regularly get nvidia driver has stopped responding and has restarted. It doesn't completely crash the computer but it is very annoying. I also get random game crashes in The Witcher 3, seeing as how this was a big reason for to purchase this card I had to take off eggs for it. I have tried many forums to narrow down the problem but nothing has worked. I'm running with a 750W Thermaltake SMART power supply so I do not think that is the problem. I just don't know what my options are at this point.
Overall Review: This was my first Zotac card and I went with it because it was cheaper. Perhaps the saying is true, you get what you pay for.
Amazing Television for this Price Range
Pros: Unbelievable picture out of the box. I upgraded from a 53" Panasonic Projection TV (pt53wx53) that I had been very happy with but was getting frustrated with "only" having 1080i and its form factor (too deep). After a long bout of research I decided to bite on the LG 60PS11. The TV looks gorgeous and very stylish has a great interface with icons and easy to understand text. It works perfectly with my Harmony 880 remote and everything I hooked up to it looked stunning including an Xbox 360, a Samsung DVR and an LG BD370 Blu-Ray Player. Try Iron Man Blu-Ray when you hook this TV up and your jaw will drop on the main menu, it's perfect! The viewing angle on this set is awesome too, you can almost see it at a 90 degree angle so it really opened up the room for viewing. We are about 15' away from the screen in primary seating and this is the perfect size for our room, really feels like we are the movies now! Get this thing if you are on the fence.
Cons: Cons are always something you don't want to bring up when you really like something but I'd feel I was cheating you guys out of knowledge if I did not mention a few. The set is HEAVY, 117 pounds with the stand so make sure you get something substantial to put it on or a really good wall mount. I have noticed that sometimes the audio does not go with the HDMI input switch the first time. I have 3 HDMI ports going into the set with one optical out going to my receiver, on occasion the sound will not come out and I have to reselect the HDMI output and it will start, this could be an ordering issue on my Harmony remote but thought I would mention it. Speaking of HDMI ports, it could use 1 or 2 more of them or I wish they would have put all 3 on the back, 1 is on the side. I may have to get an HDMI switch now or decide to use component with one of my things. The TV is TOO big to play Modern Warfare 2 on, you have to move your head so reaction time suffers :-).
Overall Review: If you have the room size this Television for this price range is a no brainer. I think Plasma looks much better than LCD (I have both). If you don't want to spend a crazy amount of money then this is the way to go. Yes, it's not a high end set but the picture is gorgeous and it has pretty much everything you need. There are setups around on the net that will make the picture look even better but like I said, it is great out of the box. Make sure you couple this with 1080p components like PS3, Xbox 360 and Blu-Ray players or else you'll be disappointed, SD feeds just look crappier the bigger and better the screen. Enjoy!
Cheap but DOA
Pros: Plugged the drive into the unit and the power light comes on for a fraction of a second but never shows up in Windows. Tried it on 3 different PC's so I have to assume it is dead. Got an RMA but having a hard time justifying paying shipping costs that are almost the same as the purchase price. Thinking about just buying locally at retail just to avoid the shipping hassles.
Cons: Didn't work out of the box, DOA.
Overall Review: Cheap stuff is great, if it works.
Lots of space for your PSP
Pros: 8 gig for my PSP, what more can I say? Well, lots. It's proprietary memory stick so you probably won't need it unless you have the right hardware, for me, that's a Sony PSP. Lots of room for movies, demos and
Cons: It's Memory Stick Duo Pro so it doesn't work in anything else that I own other than my PSP. The price is high compared to regular SD cards.
Overall Review: I wanted more space for my PSP so I was willing to spend the money, if you need the space, this is the card to get until the 16 gb comes out soon.
Killer App for the PSP
Pros: Amazing Game, best I've seen for the PSP and I've been an owner since the launch of the console. Great gameplay, great graphics, great story! Lots of unlockables in the form of extra challenges, concept art, movies and extra difficulty levels. Amazing upgrades in your weapons and magic ability, very good animations. Excellent replayability.
Cons: A lot of people state that the length of the game is short. I played through it the first time on normal mode in about 8 hours. Once complete it unlocks 2 additional difficulty levels and you can play the level you beat with all your upgrades which makes it a lot of fun. With the challenges and extra difficulty levels you'll probably get 12-15 hours of play out of this before you get bored, not bad for $40! No Multiplayer but I'm not sure how they'd do that anyway, he is supposed to be a lone fighter.
Overall Review: If you own a PSP you owe it to your self to get this game. If you do not own a PSP it's worth getting one just for this game, yes, it's that good.
