Very satisfied

Asus Zenfone 2 Laser Unlocked Smart Phone, 5.5" Silver, 32GB Storage 3GB RAM, US Warranty
Asus Zenfone 2 Laser Unlocked Smart Phone, 5.5" Silver, 32GB Storage 3GB RAM, US Warranty

Pros: 3 days usage. Great value. Really wanted the dual SIM, both supporting LTE as it allowed me to consolidate my personal and business SIM cards into one device. Love the power management options as it really extends the battery (e.g. I can disable the networks when device is sleeping or during a specific time period, 11pm-6am). This off sets the slow charging. By setting different ring tones, I can identify the call with the SIM card. Responsiveness of apps and screen touch is great.

Cons: Lots of reviews on the bloatware. I de-activate those so that they don't consume power. If I can't de-install them, I can always move them into a folder so that it doesn't take up space on the screen.

Overall Review: I seriously don't think there's any better value, especially for dual SIM phones. In addition, when one uses the bumper case, one doesn't see the plastic back covers (so, that perception and touch issue goes away).

Battery life

Asus Zenfone 2 Laser Unlocked Smart Phone, 5.5" Silver, 32GB Storage 3GB RAM, US Warranty
Asus Zenfone 2 Laser Unlocked Smart Phone, 5.5" Silver, 32GB Storage 3GB RAM, US Warranty

Pros: 23 days of ownership & usage. I noted a number of negative reviews on battery life. This is NOT my experience at all. As I previously mentioned, the ASUS power management app allows one to switch off the networks when device is sleeping. One can also set the time of inactivity before phone goes to sleep mode. Why do you want the phone battery to be drained for network access when the phone is sleeping? Once you re-activate the device from sleep mode, it reconnects to the network, and your email boxes, etc gets updated. Also, I can leave the phone overnight in 'super saving mode' and get emergency/phone calls. In latter mode, networks are disabled. E.g. my battery currently shows 88% charged at 6.40pm (after being fully charged in the early morning), and in normal mode (networks are enabled), the phone will be on standby for 95 hrs. If at 88% capacity, I switch the phone into 'super saving mode' the phone will be on standby for 220 hrs! Net, after 3 weeks of use, I have absolutely zero issues with the longevity of the battery.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: By the way, when I lock the phone, I can set the following: 1. My email/message contents to be hidden. 2. A message that appears even if it's locked (e.g. If found, please contact xxxx for reward). LOVE this!
