Most Favorable Review

cool design

Seagate FreeAgent Desk 500GB USB 2.0 3.5" External Hard Drive ST305004FDA2E1-RK Silver
Seagate FreeAgent Desk 500GB USB 2.0 3.5" External Hard Drive ST305004FDA2E1-RK Silver

Pros: Very cool looking pulsing, spiral, spacey design. Stackable and the cool design would still be viewable.

Cons: The 2-3 seconds it takes to initialize after it has been idle for awhile but that is not really that big of a deal and is expected to save power and keep durable.

Overall Review: My 3rd freeagent. 1st was original (2 years old), 2nd was Pro (year old), but this is by far the coolest looking. Never a problem with any of them.

Most Critical Review

Bad Fan

COOLMAX CM-300 300 W Micro ATX Power Supply
COOLMAX CM-300 300 W Micro ATX Power Supply

Pros: Right size

Cons: Fan Began to fail after a few months, loud rattle. I think a wire has migrated up into props not worth it.

Great deal

Cavalry CAUSM2001 USB 3.0 USM Upgrade Cable with Case for Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex
Cavalry CAUSM2001 USB 3.0 USM Upgrade Cable with Case for Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex

Pros: Converts my seagate flex from USB 2.0 to USB 3.0 Turns an old SSD into a fast and portable USB drive

Cons: None

Overall Review: Great deal on a simple product that kept me from having / wanting to buy a USB 3.0 external drive

first impressions good, better than expected

SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition OC 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card (11199-03-20G)
SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition OC 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card (11199-03-20G)

Pros: Much higher FPS than my 2gb 6950 so far no issues Great deal on sale All the accessories saved me from buying adapters - I moved my 6950 to another PC which only had one 6 pin on the PSU but this kit came with one so all good - Moved my 4830 to a PC that had no 6 pin on the PSU but this kit had a second adapter - That was a big bonus not having to buy adapters or new PSU's.

Cons: A little paranoid due to bad reviews and back screen issues

Overall Review: Owned only a few days played 2 hours of BF3 multi - 2 hours of Batman A City single - 3 hours of Deus Ex evo single and no issues whatsoever - running Catalyst 12.11 beta's A lot faster than I expected - BF3 plays so much better than it did with the 6950 - I am running eyefinty 5760 X 1080 setup and the 6950 struggled and this is like butter. Batman fps max 59 min 22 avg 36 (higher than expected) +2X what the 6950 was doing. Moved the 6950 to another PC that is running a single 2560 X 1440 that was powered by a 4830 and was barely cutting it. Hopefully all the issues are fixed with this card and if they are this was an unbelievable deal - everything I read suggest that around 2% of the cards had an electrical noise issue. Supposedly This issue was resolved at the end of September. Time will tell but so far so good and this card is awesome for the price I paid. I was nervous about the purchase but so far I am very pleased.

Medal of Honor: Warfighter Limited Edition PlayStation 3
Medal of Honor: Warfighter Limited Edition PlayStation 3

Pros: Graphics Campaign is interesting and the driving adds some diversification Exciting gameplay mutliple weapons / loadouts/ soldiers (probably to many)

Cons: Bugs (hit register glitch) Campers no enviromental destuction picking a gun and loadout way to complex Choke points / matchmaking balance

Overall Review: It is a different game style than I am used to. It requires being much more methodical while navigating maps I still prefer BF3

First gaming mouse

Corsair Vengeance M90 Black 15 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Laser 5700 dpi Performance, MMO/RTS Gaming Mouse
Corsair Vengeance M90 Black 15 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Laser 5700 dpi Performance, MMO/RTS Gaming Mouse

Pros: I can not believe how fast this thing responds to motion and clicks. It feels really solid and well built. Should have been using one for years for everything not just gaming.

Cons: Software is insane and a very complicated (this could also be a pro as you can do amazing things with it after you master it)

Overall Review: It is a good thing I am a rocket scientist (j/k) as the software is insane and I barely scratched the surface of what this thing can do. 1. hardware playback has to be checked. 2. Profiles must be created, mapped to an LED or and application and then saved to the M90 for them to work 3. if you do not have the back two profile up and profile down buttons setup then you can not change profiles. (several of the game profiles you can download from their site are not setup that way and if you use them from the LED and move to it you cannot get out. You instead have to associate that profile with the games application and not your LED.) 4. I mapped buttons to keys as it seemed easier I never knew a gaming mouse would make such a difference in everything. I have a good Logitech anywhere MX wireless mouse but this thing is just so much more responsive to motion and clicks. It has a great feel and look to it. It makes such a difference I decided to get a RAZER Goliathus speed pad to chec
