It worked at first
Pros: Looked nice and worked well at first.
Cons: After looking through reviews and other post, this problem is not unheard-of.
Overall Review: It worked for the first 3 weeks flawlessly, Then disaster strikes. The lights on the board worked intermittently and started entering post errors. I cleared the CMOS and it worked again for a day or two. Now it will get and 8b error code and the light will not turn on, after powering down and then back on 3 to 5 times it will eventually post properly. I have contacted ASRock customer support, after being transferred 3 different times,I am now forced to send the board to ASRock to get a new one that does not have a short on the board (hopefully) and am left with out a computer for the next 3 to 5 weeks unless I buy a replacement motherboard. This is my first experience with ASRock components and I am not impressed.
Check the CPU slot before installing your CPU
Overall Review: So I got the motherboard and was very excited to get it up and running. After getting everything plugged in I found that I got multiple error codes. I checked the connections and still no luck. I unplugged everything and took the ram and CPU out, after inspecting it I found that the CPU slot has misformed holes for the pins, took a look at the CPU and found that I now have bent pins on my Ryzen 9 3900X. Reinstalled my MSI X570 MEG ACE. Now I'm getting the same error codes from that motherboard as well. Check the socket before installing your CPU or you could end up buying a new CPU due to MSI's poor quality control.
