Crucial that you buy this memory

Crucial 2GB 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Laptop Memory Model CT25664AC800
Crucial 2GB 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Laptop Memory Model CT25664AC800

Pros: Once installed it recognized the memory ran thru memory diagnostics and passed. Booted into Windows and has been running great since install. Purchased 9-29-2010. Have used this not quite ever day but usually when it is on it gets used for several hours. No problems at all with the laptop. Paid $38.99 for it in Sept of 2010. Would buy it again.

Cons: Didn't come with knife to open packaging. Packaging they put that memory in never wants you to open it.

Overall Review: Installed in Dell Inspiron mini 10v or 1011. Replaced stock 1gb stick with this 2gb stick. Installed this memory. Ran thru Dell PSA diagnostic and it passed. Booted into windows and works like a charm. This was a complicated upgrade for this model as the memory is only accessible after removing the motherboard and flipping it upside down as the memory is on the bottom of the motherboard with no access door to get at it. I am a warranty tech and work on these Dell laptops so it was no big deal.

Wireless Drops off network fix. Hope my info helps

Samsung ML Series ML-2525W Workgroup Up to 24 ppm Monochrome Ethernet (RJ-45) / USB / Wi-Fi Laser Printer
Samsung ML Series ML-2525W Workgroup Up to 24 ppm Monochrome Ethernet (RJ-45) / USB / Wi-Fi Laser Printer

Pros: Works well after the bungles of the lack of info in the manual are discovered after many wasted hours and frustration. I have printed 696 pages according to the page counter in the sync thru web service. And works like a charm. Have invested in new toner cartridge while 25% off promo code was available from newegg for ink and toner. I purchased my printer from Office max or staples when the had it on sale for $99.

Cons: To fix the printer dropping off the network I have discovered that the printer likes WEP security. If you use security above that which i set up after I changed routers it started loosing connection after a few min and had to shut down printer and restart. I have my wireless security set to WEP with 64-bit encryption, Open authentication. And set to 802.11 G only though I don't think that mattered just like my old router was and I can turn the printer on and no matter how long it is on or unused it will immediately print what ever i send to the printer. I haven't since i got the printer updated any firmware but here is the info from the printer. Main Firmware Version : V1.01.00.67 09-21-2009 Network Firmware Version : V4.01.02(ML-2525W) 08-31-2009 IP Core Software Version : 2.02.6.6.3 Engine Firmware Version : 1.00.07 PCL5e Firmware Version : PCL5e 5.98 06-01-2009 SPL Firmware Version : SPL 5.35 06-03-2009

Overall Review: When setting up wireless printing you must use a computer with a wireless card. It pulls info for available wireless networks from the computer you are setting up's wireless. I however still had to manually enter my wireless network info even with router broadcasting SSID it never showed either of the two wireless routers in my house.

Good memory. Buy it.

G.SKILL Value 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR 400 (PC 3200) Desktop Memory Model F1-3200PHU2-2GBNT
G.SKILL Value 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR 400 (PC 3200) Desktop Memory Model F1-3200PHU2-2GBNT

Pros: Installed easy. Worked right away. Good price. I paid $57.99 for the kit in Dec. of 2009 and its still going.

Cons: None really. Doesn't come with knife to open always exciting packaging.

Overall Review: Purchased 12/20/09 as a Christmas present for my parents. I upgraded their old single core CPU desktop(Emachines T6212) from stock 512mb to this 2x1gb kit. Installed the memory. Fired right up to the desktop. Booted right into Windows with noticeable decrease in boot up time. Detected all my memory and has been running fine since the install date. Computer is used almost everyday. Only issue the computer has had was a virus which had nothing to do with this memory. Left old 512mb for first boot but it seemed a little slow. If I am not mistaken this memory was faster speed than stock memory so it was making the new run at slower speed. Just took out old and left only the 2x1gb kit in and worked better. 2gb is more than enough for Windows XP.

Wireless is Confusing

Samsung ML Series ML-2525W Workgroup Up to 24 ppm Monochrome Ethernet (RJ-45) / USB / Wi-Fi Laser Printer

Pros: Usb and wired network setup via included CD is a breeze. Print quality thus far is good though this is the first Laser printer I have owned and have gone from a Inkjet. Includes a USB cable. Price for me was a pro but I did not buy from newegg I got it from Office max on sale for $99.

Cons: Wireless setup was a biggie. I attempted setup from CD on 2 desktops and and again on one of those two desktops after resetting my router and it wouldn't work. Even after doing advanced setup by specifying my SSID and junk. I did have success after connecting to a laptop and running setup but I had previously connected it wired and statically assigned it an IP address. My only guess is that the Printer can't sniff for and find networks only use of a Laptop or machine with a wireless card will work due to the setup CD pulling the info from that not the printer finding it. But even from the laptop I had to specify my SSID wireless encryption and password as neither one of the two routers showed up in the list of wireless networks in range. (install instructions make no mention of need for wireless machine to run setup for wireless) No LCD on printer to aid in setup. Setup page for info like MAC and IP address is to print off a setup page(waste of toner in my opinion)

Overall Review: If you are going to use this as a USB printer or network printer physically connected to the network setup will be a breeze. Wireless will work but but use a laptop or machine with a wireless card to run setup(from CD) if you want it wireless (NOT ADHOC). It will surely save you a few headaches. First desktop I used was a e-Machines running xp home and was physically connected to my router. Second machine was a Home built desktop with win 7 Home 64bit physically connected to the network. Laptop was HP dv8000 laptop with XP media center edition wirelessly connected to my router. Router is a D-Link DI-524 wireless router. I gave only 3 eggs due to wireless setup being so difficult. I know that seems harsh but many people are far less tech savy and this would have been a major issue for them. Hope info in cons helps others make their Samsung printer work because it is possible. Mine works great sitting on counter only connected only to wall power and can print from multiple machines.
