Great mouse

Rosewill RM-7900 2.4GHz Wireless Mouse
Rosewill RM-7900 2.4GHz Wireless Mouse

Pros: Comfortable, adjustable DPI, signal doesn't get interrupted like my previous Microsoft mouse. Seems sturdy. Buttons have a good feel to them. They're stiff enough to not hit accidentally, but they aren't difficult to click, either. Also, the mouse sleeps pretty quickly when not in use. Takes some getting used to, but it saves a ton of battery life. The USB plug also stashes inside the mouse when you're traveling, which is convenient.

Cons: The adjustable DPI is a little weird to get used to. I had to mess around with it for a while.

Overall Review: It's a mouse. It's pretty cheap. I like it.

Bumper Sticker

ASUS VS Series VS197D-P Black 18.5" 5ms LED Backlight Widescreen LCD Monitor 250 cd/m2 ASCR 50000000:1
ASUS VS Series VS197D-P Black 18.5" 5ms LED Backlight Widescreen LCD Monitor 250 cd/m2 ASCR 50000000:1

Pros: Crisp color, wide screen. The brightness & contrast settings were very responsive. I also liked the plug orientation, and the fact that there isn't a special power cord (as with some monitors these days).

Cons: Vertical resolution tops out at 768px. Somehow I failed to realize this when I ordered it. This isn't just wide, this is (as another reviewer noted) like looking at a bumper sticker. Vertical resolution is important to the reason I bought the monitor. If you're reading this, you can get something with ~1024+ vertical res for maybe $30 more. This monitor is cheap, but doesn't seem worth it.

Overall Review: bought this to replace an LCD BenQ monitor that was over 11 years old. I think it ran me $130 originally. I was surprised that this monitor, 11 years more modern, (a) didn't have DVI where my BenQ did, and (b) had worse resolution. However, the color depth and crispness was an upgrade. But I wouldn't recommend this monitor.

Crisp

LG 21.5" TN LCD Monitor 5 ms D-Sub, DVI 22EN43T-B
LG 21.5" TN LCD Monitor 5 ms D-Sub, DVI 22EN43T-B

Pros: QUITE crisp image, good range of brightness and contrast, very customizable menu options. Also this thing is huge. Great range of supported resolutions. Base seems solid, and can tilt fairly easily to a comfortable level. Viewing angle is pretty good. Although the color gets a LITTLE washed out at a fairy extreme angle, it's not at all noticeable for normal viewing.

Cons: Until you install the drivers, the display is grainy and terrible. The power plug is proprietary, which is disappointing, but that doesn't matter THAT much. Auto-adjust has been very spotty for me: it tends to adjust so that the top of the display is off the monitor by about 25 pixels, so I have to go in and adjust it manually. I hope that it doesn't auto-adjust every time I turn the thing on. Installing the device software required disabling UAC. I don't really love that. Also, since I'm hoping to keep this sucker for a long time, I hope that the driver dependence doesn't become an issue in future OS versions, although I'm guessing it won't be a big problem.

Overall Review: I've only had this for a day, but it looks really good. I'm quite satisfied with it. I couldn't give it 5 eggs because of the various cons, but they aren't enormous issues. Would recommend.

Still work

RiDATA ARITA 4.7GB 8X DVD+R 25 Packs Spindle Disc Model DRD+478-AR25RV2
RiDATA ARITA 4.7GB 8X DVD+R 25 Packs Spindle Disc Model DRD+478-AR25RV2

Pros: They're cheap and they still burn and read well after a year. Unlike some other reviews, I've never had a burn error with even a single one of these disks.

Cons: Labels are kind of ugly.

Overall Review: I needed some DVD+Rs and I didn't want to spend a lot of money. These worked.
