Great Looking Liquid CPU Cooler
Pros: -The 360mm Rad keeps my Ryzen 7 5800X extremely cool under heavy loads. -The RGB effects are fantastic & the replaceable pump cover is a great touch. The included RGB fans run fairly quite while looking great as well. -Installation was fairly easy with clear directions.
Cons: -It took some time to figure out the controls in the iCUE software. -The pump had a little whine to it in the preset modes. It may have just been some air bubbles that needed to work there way out, but after a week of tuning and playing around with things it did quite down. -You are defiantly paying a premium for the lighting.
Overall Review: Overall this is a really good CPU liquid cooler, though at a higher price. I choose this as I love the overall look of the RGB and the compatibility of all the Corsair products with the iCUE software.
Great 1440p Gaming Monitor
Pros: -32" Curve gives great viewing angles -Performs 1440p gaming at 165hz flawlessly -Great responsiveness -Has a great Eco mode feature for when not gaming
Cons: -The onboard navigation and image features are a little confusing to figure out. Making editing the screen to your desired setting difficult. -(Not a big deal to me) But the behind screen RGB is not bright at all, can't even tell it is there.
Overall Review: This is a great option for a big 32" screen for 1440p gaming. The high refresh rate & response time make this a great product. If they can figure out how to make the onboard navigation and display adjusts a little easier to understand, I would almost say this is a perfect product, if there is such a thing.
Great DDR4 RAM for the RGB Enthusiast.
Pros: -The DDR4 3600 performance is fantastic & 2x16GB is more than enough space for my needs. -The RGB effects look great with the rest of my Corsair products.
Cons: -Had a little trouble getting the iCUE software to be in control of the RGB, rather than my Aorus motherboard with RGB Fusion 2.0. I had to do some digging and found out you need to remove two files from the RGBFusion folder in the program files (spddump.exe & SPD_Dump.XML). This isn't Corsairs fault, but just something to remember if what iCUE to control your RAM RGB. -Also not a con, but make sure to enable XMP in the BIOs to reach your full speeds.
Overall Review: Great RGB RAM for the money, high recommend for a Corsair Build.
Great PSU for the money!
Pros: -Runs my 3070ti & 5800X flawlessly, while giving me some extra headroom. -Runs super quite. -Cords are White!
Cons: -The cords are really stiff.
Overall Review: Great buy for a 850W Gold PSU.
Great Bang for your Buck
Overall Review: Love my Ryzen 7 5800X. It is probably more powerful than I really needed, but it is a great buy with future proofing in mind.
Solid Motherboard
Pros: -Price is good for what you get -2 USB-C connections (1 internal, 1 1 external) -Plenty of USB 2.0 & 3.2 connectors -Up to 128 GB of DDR4 Storage is plenty -Dual M.2 connectors (Gen 4 & Gen3) with thermal guards provided plenty of storage space for me -Works well with my 5800x & 3070ti -BIOs was super easy to update with Q-Flash Plus Button. -Aorus BIOs was super easy to navigate.
Cons: -RGB Fusion 2.0 & Aorus Engine Software is a little lacking in controls and features -No built in WIFI or Bluetooth. -USB 3.2 Front Panel Header is at the bottom of the board and caused some clearance issues. -Only 2 USB 2.0 Internal headers, Needed both but no room for expansion.
Overall Review: I got this board as a bundle with my 3070ti using the NewEgg Shuffle. I was a little worried that it may not have had enough features for my build, but was pleasantly surprised. There is no fat on this motherboard, meaning that there is nothing there that I didn't need. It doesn't have the most features, nor does it look super flashy, but it gets the job done. The BIOs was easy to update for AMD 5000 series chips, with the Q-Flash Pro feature (just follow the instructions on their website, and boom). Overall I would say this is an okay bang for your buck board.
