Pros: lots of room
easy to work with
didn't get any cuts!
Cons: Small problems with the case I got, I think the person that put my case together used a power drill set at high voltage or something because the top case fan and HDD cage has messed up threads and won't tighten properly.
Overall Review: Great case, I probably should've gotten the R5 but I really didn't like how the top panel covers look.
Pros: Nice clean look.
Cons: Side panels and interior are flimsy.
Cable management needs improvement.
The tool-less mechanism for 5.25in bay is trash.
Some faded spots on my front aluminum panel.
Overall Review: Okay let's be real, Corsair's definitely on crack.
For this price there's so many things wrong with this case, at most it's only worth $60-70.
The only thing that's well built on this is the front panel, the rest is something that you'd find in a $40 case.
I've avoided Corsair's products for many years and thought I'd give them a shot with all their hype and I definitely regret my purchase.
Yes I could return it but I don't have the time to move all my parts back into my old case.
Pros: Very comfortable, feels like previous generations.
Very customizable settings.
Adjustable brightness on the mouse's G logo.
Glides super smooth on my SteelSeries QcK pad.
Cons: Okay now here's where I explain my title.
I've bought this at a large retailer (sorry newegg) and I have gone through 3 of them all with some kind of problem.
The first one I bought the mouse wheel click did not work at all.
The second one the right click would release for a split second if I held it down for a couple seconds.
The third one the wheel squeaked if I scrolled with it, sounded dry like it wasn't lubricated.
Overall Review: I think they dropped the ball on their latest generation of mice, their quality control is either terrible or they purposely sent their defects to the store I went to.
Currently using my old MX518 which is 9 years old, the only problem with it was the rubber area wore out and got sticky. I should've bought more when I had the chance.
If you got a fully functional one with no problems that's great it's actually a really good mouse when it works but I find it fishy that the warranty isn't as long like ones in the past.
Call me a grandpa but they don't make them like they used to. Loved you Logitech but I think you finally cracked and started focusing more on aesthetics and gimmicks over durability and functionality.
Pros: -tool-less (they really mean it when they said tool-less design)
-air filters everywhere, easy to clean!
-cable management is a breeze
-lots of room
-solid hdd trays instead of those plastic brackets the other manufacturers use
Cons: my only gripe about the case is that they use special case fan screws so each of my case fans are currently using 2 screws, i had to take them from the fans it came with to install another 2 fans on the top.
if it did come with extra fan screws then mine didn't come with them...
Pros: Quality build.
Cherry MX red switches.
Very quiet. (Wasn't expecting this.)
Extremely comfortable to type on.
Cons: Price but that's expected for red switches
I expected red led for red switches not blue! (not really a con lol)
Overall Review: For people that are first time buyer for mechanical keyboards, please don't randomly go off an buy an expensive keyboard and then rant about it because it's noisy or you don't like the feel etc.
Do newegg and their customers a favor and do some research before purchasing. Thank you.
Pros: -swivel, pivot, tilt, AND height adjustment!?
-great build quality, feels rock solid
-lots of energy saving features (not that i care but it's great to have)
-very bright, make sure you lower it so your eyes don't bleed!
-not 16:9 ratio
Cons: -button for browsing the menu is a bit weird, annoying at first but not that big of a deal once you get used to it
Overall Review: I got this monitor because the quality of the big name competitors have gone down A LOT over the years.
I mainly use this just for SC2 and watching movies. I'm pretty amazed that you can adjust the height, pivot, tilt and swivel, most monitors nowadays can only do one or the other. If I decide to dual screen I will be sure to come back and buy this one. I highly recommend this monitor to anyone looking for a good replacement whether it be for gaming, reading, or a cheap alternative for photoshop as opposed to the expensive IPS panels (NEC also has the best IPS monitors).
Pros: One of the best cases in the $60 range.
Has some cable management compared to v1.
Cons: I ordered this somewhere else expecting the version without the ugly side window but ended up getting it.
Overall Review: I've checked everywhere online and all countries EXCEPT the United States has the one without the disgusting side window.
Personally I am mad as hell because the one without the side window has an extra fan slot and looks less disgusting. This is probably the first time I'm disappointed with Cooler Master.
Cons: -Space bar got squeaky after a few days.
Overall Review: If anyone's interested in the keyboard alphabet test while holding down both shift keys, here they are:
Test: THE QUICK BROWN FOX JUMPS OVER THE LAZY DOG
Results: HE QUIC BROWN OX UMP OVER HE Z OG
As you can see not all the keys registered as most gaming keyboards are able to do so. It's a good buy though considering that there aren't that many mechanical keyboards around this price range.
