Pros: Plenty of space, great cable routing, fan controller, LED on/off switch, removable drive cages, SSD compatibility, fits 240mm radiator
Cons: case doesn't serve me coffee in the morning
Overall Review: This case teeters on the edge of being a small full tower, I see that as a positive others may not. Install was a breeze, the motherboard tray has a cutout so you can install back plates while the mobo is secured. At the time of purchase plus rebate this case is hands down the best value around. At full price that may not be so but still a high quality case
Rock solid
Pros: Fast, stable, CAS 9
Cons: Minor qualm with the fan unit that comes with the memory. Doesn't fit with a Hyper 212 EVO push pull. Works fine with any liquid cooler, although its not really necessary because the memory stays cool by itself. Not worth knocking an egg off for, just something to think about.
Overall Review: Wouldn't hesitate to pair this with any Haswell based system, no problems paired with i7 4770k. Reaches rated speeds and even runs at 1T with XMP profile 2. Highly recommended
FAST
Pros: Fast and quiet, eats up anything you throw at it in 1080p. One of the fastest factory overclocks you can find and still has a 15% headroom for more oc. Also gets an excellent hashrate in cudaminer I'm getting 520kh/s with auto tune after a base oc to 1176
Cons: There was a slight coil whine when running some of the older benchmarks but this only happened when the fps hit 2k+ so it's not a huge issue.
Overall Review: I'll be upgrading to 1440p monitor soon and I can't wait, the performance of this card is well worth it (especially if you caught the sale price with the rebate)
Worth the $$
Pros: Performance. Definitely felt the increase in performance upgrading from my aging Phenom II 980. Single threaded applications run blazing fast and the hyper-threading chews up and spits out multi-threaded applications.
Cons: Not very much overclocking headroom without de-lidding the chip to replace the TIM. Thermal grease instead of solder on a expensive processor seems to be a bit of an oxy-moron. It's a top of the line chip why cheap out on thermal solution when your customers are clearly willing to buy a premium product.
Overall Review: Haven't had the guts to delid and replace TIM for better oc'ing headroom as there's no need right now. For those of you wondering about the heat issues just google de-lidding this chip and look at the results, 20C drop with just replacing with a superior quality TIM. Wouldn't recommend replacing an Ivy with Haswell as the performance gain isn't worth it, but if you're like me and replacing an aging system its completely worth the money.
Excellent value
Pros: Excellent price, very musical, nice bass extension
Cons: Low sensitivity, grills aren't removable, not the prettiest speakers
Overall Review: After breaking these speakers in the sound stage really opens up. Others have mentioned that you need adequate power for these, and it's true due to the low sensitivity. For the close out prices these go for you can't really find a better speaker without spending 3 times the amount, I highly recommend them
