Does what it should
Pros: Keeps my old Dell dimension 8500 running a little while longer! Doesn't require a whole lot in the way of power supplies, as i am still using the stock Dell unit. Runs all of the the games I play decently (Neverwinter Nights 2, Medieval 2.) Can't really hear the fan running unless I've been playing for more than a couple of hours.
Overall Review: A great card if you don't want to spend alot and need to keep an old machine running until your wife lets you buy a new one!
Great while it lasted
Pros: Drive was very quiet. Used it for the main drive in a Vista Media Center it was very fast.
Cons: After Just over a year it completely died. The drive was totally corrupted and after formatting in another computer a new install will not find the drive at all.
Overall Review: Drive worked perfectly until it died just over a year after purchase.
Good Cable, bad strap
Pros: Cable is nice and short, exactly what I wanted for hauling around with my laptop. Ends are small so they don't block any of the ports close by.
Cons: Mechanism to turn cable into a strap was a little chintzy, I wouldn't trust my drive to it that's for sure. Cable is kind of odd, it's fabric covered but a little stiff (more pose-able than stiff I guess) not sure how long it will last.
Overall Review: nice freebie that came bundled with the hard drive I wanted. Perfect length for use with a portable drive when traveling.
Bigger than it looks
Pros: Great looking case. Fit's everything really well. Lot's of ventilation. Case was bigger than I had anticipated, but is a good size.
Cons: Poor documentation. As others have said you're on your own as far as which screw goes where.
Overall Review: Using a Gigabyte GA-E7AUM-DS2H MoBo and an Asus V52 cooler. I flipped the fan upside down on the cooler to exhaust heat from the CPU into the 120 fan on the bottom of the PSU. This dropped the CPU temp about 5-6C from the stock config. Modular PSU would be nice for this case, but cost was prohibitive. The cables on my TT PSU were pretty long so in order to keep them off the MoBo I put the dvd drive in the lower slot to use as a sort of tray for the bundled extra cables. Lots of ventilation holes in the sides of the case make it run really cool, but you can pretty much see everything on the inside. No need for a window on this thing; you get it whether you wanted it or not. Brightest Blue power LED I've ever seen!
Just what I needed
Pros: Efficient cooling without being huge. I bought this thinking it would be easy to reverse the fan for a silverstone sugo installation and it was. Now it's pulling air through the heat sink up into the 120 mm fan on the PSU above it. Temps are hovering around 32C at idle and around 47C at load with the stock grease.
Cons: Fan power cable is a little long? Plastic clips holding fan are a little fragile, I broke one reversing the fan but who else needs to do that?
Overall Review: Overall an awesome cooler for a SFF istall. I can't say anything about how load it is as I have too many other fans blowing around to tell which is which.
Does it's job
Pros: Enclosure is about as simple as it gets. Open the door slide in the drive shut the door and it's ready. Works exactly like it should. Looks great and the workmanship is very good for the price you pay.
Cons: Cord is a bit short, not a problem for me since the drive sits on top of the case.
Overall Review: could use some more ventilation, but since the case is all metal it transfers heat away from the drive pretty well.
