Great Card
Pros: Got this in the deal with the 650w PSU for a total of 100$. Best deal ever, i bought one, one of my friends bought one who only needed the PSU so i gave him 50$ and now i am SLIing these bad boys, great performance for the price.
Cons: Heating issues, when playing crysis core temps go up really high... because fans don't go past 60%ish when set on auto, have to manually set fan speed for intensive games or else card will overheat.
Not worth 150$
Pros: All the features you could ever think of/need in an AMD chipset. Very easy to O.C. with many system tools from the windows environment and a bios flash within windows (thanks ASUS, not really this motherboard alone)
Cons: Have to put gpu in 2nd pcie 2x16 slot... which makes it incredibly annoying to try to reach the USB, SATA, CMOS, Audio... unless you have a full tower, if you are buying a mid case with this mobo, beware. I kid you not i had to remove the GPU literally 4 times so i could get in there to reset the CMOS. Turbo actually reduces performance... true story. Auto core unlocker doesn't work had to manually unlock the core for my amd athlon ii x3 rana 445. Extremely picky about memory, if you do not get what is on the QVL list expect lockups and blue screens. No support for non sli dual cards. Crossfire only runs at pcie 8x not 16x.
Overall Review: This board is great, in theory, but in actuality, it fails in so many areas, which made this such a frustrating board to work with, especially since this is my first build. 3 eggs because it is way overpriced for all the problems plaguing it, ill change this to 5 eggs if they release a bios which fix's all these problems.
Very solid build and design with a window for those who want to show off.
Pros: - Very luxurious and spacious case - Strong build materials and quality - Really good cable management - Excellent airflow even if you don't add extra case fans - Removable dust filters make it really easy to keep clean - Easy mounting for water cooling solutions
Cons: - Very little sound proofing, this case gets loud under load - The audio out on the front gets a lot of interference which probably indicates poor shielding of the header cable - Window scratches easily
Overall Review: - I paid 60$ after rebate for this and it was well worth it - I don't think it is worth it at the MSRP - No room for an optical drive (Not sure if you can count this as a con in 2017) - I would have liked an extra front panel USB connector
Meh
Pros: Customizable keys, Programmable macro keys, Illuminated characters.
Cons: The LED is kind of worthless for just about everything, The 'intelligent cable management' isn't so intelligent, half of my keys aren't fully illuminated, on some keys only about half of it is illuminated.
Overall Review: Granted i got this at a very good price (20.99) after my 15$ newegg customer care card; which is why i gave it 4 eggs over 3. But if this thing retails for 80$... I honestly think its not even worth close to that. The r1 was where it had so many more functions, i don't know why they changed it.
Amazing for its price
Pros: Got it at 16$, for that price, this mouse is simply amazing. My razer mamba died and i had to get it replaced, but i didn't do heavy gaming much anymore, so i just picked up this cheap mouse. It's really worth 16$, but nothing higher. There are much better mouses for the retail value of 40$ if you are looking.
Cons: No extra mouse buttons, but at 16$ not enough to take off an egg.
Good for the price
Pros: Lot's of cables, works well, cheap (got it in combo with gts 250 for 100$ both).
Cons: Too many non modular wires, had 2 extra wires i didn't need that i could not remove, not enough to take a egg away though at this price.
