Seems to work great
Pros: I bought this for my mom for x-mas. It seems to work great. Did some test calls in the kitchen when dishes were being done, and the person on the other end told me they could hear me fine. Also very light, so it doesn't irritate your ear.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: I've had a few Bluetooth headsets in the past. They've all had problems with their "noise cancellation," if they would dare call it that. This one seems to do okay in that department, and I think that's important since this will commonly be used in a car.
Noise, Noise, Noise
Pros: It works. It's powering my i7 920 @ 3.3GHz 1 HDD 1 ODD 2x 6870
Cons: It's loud. LOUD! I can't stand it! I want to turn off my computer right now but I'm writing this review. Poor quality on these guys. Read other thoughts.
Overall Review: Bought one in late 2009/early 2010. Installed it, and it was a little louder than my old PSU, but not dreadfully so. I could tolerate it. After a few months, the whirring of the fan became unbearable. I dealt with it for a little while, but eventually RMA'd it. ($15 shipping from FL to CAL) Received the second unit around December 2011. Now, March 1, 2012, the second unit is just as loud as the original. Sure, I can RMA and spend another $15, be out of a PSU for 2-3 weeks, and take the risk of this happening again, but I think I'll just try a different PSU. Those 2-3 weeks are costly.
LOVE this case!
Pros: Great cable management, lots of big fans for airflow, very quiet. Lots of room for expansion. This case can fit anything you could possibly want. This thing is an absolute joy to work with. Cable routing behind the motherboard was a cinch. There are no extra cables obstructing the motherboard.
Cons: The blue power LED is extremely bright. I might call this a pro since I can't leave my PC on at night because the light makes it hard to sleep. I also don't care for the red LEDs on the front case fan. It's not obnoxiously bright or anything, I just prefer a case that doesn't have any more lights than it needs.
Overall Review: I'm glad I bought this before they changed it. They added USB 3.0 ports and... I think they painted the interior black. Neither are things I care about, and I saved thirty bucks.
Total Ripoff
Pros: Ten of the twelve eggs arrived fine, and they were delicious.
Cons: Warranty is horrible! Two eggs arrived broken, and Newegg wanted me to send back the broken product! Well, that's fine, but when I notified them of the day I purchased them, they said my warranty had expired!
Overall Review: One day warranty on parts and labor is criminal! I've had good luck buying PC parts from Newegg, but I'm never buying eggs from them again! They should be ashamed!
Frustrating
Pros: It reads every disc. If I buy a program/game/etc. the drive reads it fine.
Cons: Piece of junk. Nine out of ten times it won't detect blank media, and when it finally does, it will burn to about 50% and then spit out the media. I don't burn much, and I don't install software very often from discs, so I've owned the drive for over a year and haven't noticed the burning problem. Now, I finally want to burn a music CD on my desktop for a friend, and it doesn't detect the majority of blank discs. On the one it does detect, the burning fails at about fifty percent, and I have to trash the disc. I've tried two different brands of media, and both exhibit the same problems. In addition, I went so far as to upgrade the firmware on the drive. I was optimistic, but the problem persists. I put the same discs un-readable by this drive into my laptop. Voila! They work, and the music CD burns with no problem!
Overall Review: Bad drive? Maybe. I read lots of positive reviews before I bought this drive on 7/2/2009. I've never had problems like this before with optical drives, but there's no way I'd risk buying this drive again.
Really Good!
Pros: Wireless, and has a Nano Receiver. Scroll wheel is awesome. I was trying to find a long web page just to play with it, it's so fast. Love the forward and back buttons, of course. I was pleasantly surprised when I found the extra thumb button. I didn't even know it was there when I bought it. No lag when receiver placed properly *See cons
Cons: I've been using the mouse for a couple weeks now. The unifying receiver touts 30 feet of range, so I stuck it in the back of my desktop. It seemed okay for the most part, but sometimes the mouse would cut in and out, or stop working completely for a few seconds. Decided to move it to the front, and now it's working great. The range may be thirty feet, but placing it in the back of my desktop apparently caused major interference. Plan on sticking the receiver in the front or getting an extension cable. (Note, range is about the same: 4 feet to the front and back USB ports)
Overall Review: Very happy to find a wireless mouse that works well. Cords drive me nuts.
