quick, cheap, needs heatsinks
Pros: My PC boots in 2 seconds
Cons: The unit without a heatsink needs 3rd party heatsink. Had to fiddle with motherboard settings to get it to perform well. That is not specific to this unit but to all pcie ssds.
Overall Review: This unit needs a heatsink, 3rd party ram heatsinks keep this drive very cool. It is cooler than the one with the OEM heatsink. Had to remove my optical drive to get quick boot speed. I would skip this upgrade if I had to do it over again as I already had a boot ssd. However this one is about 5x faster.
fast, small, easy to use
Pros: Its fast, its my boot drive. Handles dual booting just fine. 250gb is a good for a boot drive but not much else.
Cons: It is unclear whether I should have removed the sticker when I installed the drive under the motherboard included heat-spreader.
Overall Review: I left the sticker, the temps are fine. Its faster and bigger than my old plextor for less money. These small drives have really dropped in price.
Its a fine PSU
Pros: - Fully Modular, with plenty of cables for me - 80+ gold - standard size - quiet - all black, nice for a dark build
Cons: -no frills
Overall Review: What can you really say about a PSU? It didn't brick my new build. The cables were easy to install, they are all long enough for a mid-tower, and they are flat and black. This PSU provides my system all the juice it could need.
Good cooling, good accessories included
Pros: -Pretty quiet. -Keeps my Ryzen 7 5800x in the "Green". At stock speeds temps never exceed 60c. -2 excellent 4pin PWM fans included
Cons: -The pump noise is loud at full speed (in a "be quiet!" sense of loud). Not a jet engine or anything. -The screw thread on the radiator is not standard metric machine threading. This means attaching 4 fans to the radiator was difficult, but not impossible.
Overall Review: After attaching my pump to a MB fan header and syncing it to fan speed I no longer hear pump noise. While overclocking my CPU, the Pure Loop 280 kept my processor from thermal throttling during an hour prime95 stress testing.
I love this case
Pros: -Awesome Airflow, keeps temps down and fan noise low -Subtle Lighting, with lots of built-in options or MB syncing -Excellent included fans, quiet and good cooling -Large working space for a mid-tower, pretty easy to install components -Enough room for 7 140mm fans, if you put a radiator in the front in push/pull config -Great cable management options -No sharp edges, good build quality
Cons: -Mine had minor damage to the rear thumb-screws, probably shipping damage, but that indicates the case is not packaged securely. -No reset switch -Front cover difficult to remove
Overall Review: Cards on the table I am a fan of Be Quiet! I am not a big fan of RGB, but the subtle way it is employed in this case makes it really enjoyable. This is my first Mid-Tower case in a long while and it has exceeded my expectations. Mid-Towers used to be so cramped (giant drive cages) and hard to work in, not this one. Installing components was a breeze. The Front mesh is great for airflow. It has three dust filters that will hopefully keep dust low. The peripheral slot locking mechanism helps to keep cards in place. I have paired mine with a Pure Loop 280, which fits nicely in the front (as it should). I don't know what else to say about this case, I love it.
great little laptop
Pros: Touch screen, Mine came with the stylus, Good battery life for such a large screen, Quick, after Lenovo bloatware removed and ssd installed, Cheap, Refurbished unit was in great condition, YMMV.
Cons: None that I can think of.
Overall Review: A cheap ssd and a Windows reinstall made this laptop a great little machine.
