Cost, Quality, Warranty

Pros: Good price, decent response time, and exceptional warranty (3 years). All three arrived with the quickness and sans dead pixels.
Cons: n/a
Overall Review: I bought three to replace some failed monitors in one of my offices. All arrived without dead pixels and otherwise working as advertised. It's not a high-performance monitor but does nicely in an office setting.
You get what you pay for

Pros: Silent Won't overheat in reasonable ambient temperatures
Cons: The HDMI interface doesn't work at all. The VGA and DVI interfaces cannot perform to advertised specifications. Galaxy technical support is abominable.
Overall Review: Purchased as part of an HTPC build, this card provides zero signal via HDMI and incompatible output via VGA/DVI on my 1080p TV. Tests with other video cards were all successful. Galaxy tech support personnel have the technical prowess of my Luddite father. You would do well to pay more for a reputable brand.
Great Bulk Storage Drive

Pros: - Drives arrived well-packaged and in good condition - 5-year warranty - Great performance for a mechanical drive
Cons: N/A
Overall Review: I have 8 of these in a FreeNAS server, configured in a RAID10 (well, the ZFS equivalent). I'm getting sustained data transfers of a little over 2Gbps. Looking forward to adding another 16 of these drives, down the road.
Not an HP Switch

Pros: - Great price for a 24-port layer 3 managed switch with 4 x 10G SFPs. - Everything working as intended.
Cons: - This is not an HP switch. This is an H3C s5800. An important distinction, I think. - Switch came installed with very old firmware, which wouldn't be a big deal if I could figure out how to get access to the software downloads from the website. Even after registering, it tells me I don't have the necessary privs.
Overall Review: Make sure you have a computer with a serial port or a serial-to-Ethernet dongle.
Great for Console or PC

Pros: -Great build quality -9 foot cable -Non-proprietary USB interface -Works flawlessly on PC
Cons: None, for my uses
Overall Review: I've tried several 3rd-party controllers over the years and none have achieved the same build quality and ergonomics. I've seen reviews mentioning issues with PC drivers: Since Windows XP, drivers have been included for this gamepad (that's why they're not bundled). If this controller doesn't install automatically, you've got something hosed up in your operating system.
Great Picture; Mediocre Otherwise

Pros: Display is sharp and bright. VESA mountable.
Cons: VGA interface appears incapable of displaying 1080p resolution. Documentation of hardware/software features is... incomplete, to say the least.
Overall Review: Purchased as part of an HTPC project. So, a high-quality panel and VESA support are my primary concerns, which I believe LG has delivered. I'm leaving video processing duties to my graphics adapter, naturally; so, the TV's sparse feature set is of little consequence to me. I was never able to get 1080p to display properly through the TV's VGA interface, which I thought strange. I tried several video cards and meticulously scoured video settings on both the TV and graphics card, no thanks to LG's "documentation". The TV disables most of the display options when connected via VGA, which may be part of the problem. Nevertheless, HDMI works fine. The manual and online documentation only list features with virtually no explanation (anyone want to guess what "Just Scan" or "Eye Care" mean practically?). No dead/stuck pixels or other manufacturing defects yet.
