Excellent Cooling3/30/2018 3:11:21 PM

Pros: Great Temps, Looks Nice

Cons: No RGB

Overall Review: This a another excellent performance block from EK. My temperatures we were almost a full 10C lower under load compared to the EVGA Hybrid solution that it replaced. Using it with an EVGA GTX 1080Ti SC2 Hybrid.

Perfect Portable Monitor2/4/2014 12:35:40 PM

Pros: Thin & light 1920x1080 Adjustable brightness Auto orientation One cable is all you need

Cons: Stand / Case could use some rethinking

Overall Review: This has been the perfect solution for me. I travel a lot for work, and up until now have just been using Hotel TVs as my second monitor when working on projects that require more screen real estate. This is a much better solution, and so far I am very pleased with the product. I installed the provided drivers, and it works perfectly on my Lenovo Thinkpad (T540p) on Windows 7 Pro x64. The screen seems to be of good quality, fully adjustable brightness control, and text looks very sharp and clear. The provided cover protects the panel well, but as a stand, takes up a lot of surface area, and has limited viewing angles. Everyone is very impressed by how thin an light the monitor is, and I don't notice the extra weight in my laptop bag. Overall I am very pleased with this ASUS product.

Great Full Size S-Pen for "Note" Devices4/30/2013 9:07:08 AM

Pros: Larger, easier to hold on to than S-Pen that comes with most "Note" devices. Accurate tracking Eraser function on back of S-Pen

Cons: None, although a the price is a bit high for this type of accessory

Overall Review: I use this pen with my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 tablet. It is easier to hold on to than the one that comes with the tablet, and a few applications like S-Note and Papyrus recognize the eraser function when you flip the pen around. Tracking is very accurate and a tad better than the device included S-Pen. Also works great on my phone (Samsung Galaxy Note II).

Greatr USB 3.0 Thumb Drive6/5/2012 3:42:34 PM

Pros: Pretty Fast for a thumb drive Durable Smaller / shorter than previous XT models

Cons: Does not come with a lanyard like the USB 2.0 Xporters did.

Overall Review: Purchased this after my son snapped the head of my 8GB Xporter XT (USB 2.0) off in my laptop. Didn't really need USB 3.0, but the price was great, and this one is shorter making it more portable. Speeds are good for a thumb drive. Very pleased.

USB 3.0 Hub works, USB 2.0 & Card Reader not so much6/4/2012 12:38:29 PM

Pros: The USB 3.0 ports work and I was able to verify with my USB 3.0 External HDD that they do work at specified Speeds.

Cons: The USB 2.0 ports work as expected for a bit, and then died. Card Reader doesn't recognize ANY of my SD or MicroSD cards. I plug one in, no dialogue box pops up, and no drive is detected by windows. If I plug that same SD or MicroSD card into the USB 3.0 port with an adapter, it pops up right away. Card Reader ports are DOA.

Overall Review: If all you want it a USB 2.0 / 3.0 hub, this device works great. Card Reader is a no go even after re-installing the RealTek Card Reader driver from the SIIG support web site. Looking to exchange it for a working one. Being that only 1 out of 3 port types work, this guy gets 2 Eggs.

Fun little copter11/1/2011 4:20:53 PM

Pros: Fun to fly Cheap Durable

Cons: Short flight time

Overall Review: The little copter is pretty fun to fly once you figure out how to maneuver without running into walls. It holds up to multiple crashes very well. You only get about 5min max of usable flight time between charges. Overall a great buy.

Works Great with AT&T GS210/23/2011 3:14:26 PM

Pros: Charges the phone as well as an extra battery. Allows for USB sync while charging, which many of the Samsung branded docks will not do. Fits the device perfectly.

Cons: None

Overall Review: Using this with the AT&T version of the Galaxy S II, and everything works just like it should.

Worked for 1 flight10/18/2011 9:56:58 AM

Pros: Small, controls were accurate the one time it took off.

Cons: Was able to fly around one time successfully. I put it away and when I tried it the next day, it wouldn't respond to controls. It would light up when turned on, but that was all. Charged it twice, same results.

Overall Review: Cheap

Great cooler, USB ports are a joke.7/7/2011 2:50:19 PM

Pros: If you purchase this strictly as a laptop cooler, you will not be disappointed. It does a great job of significantly cooling my HP Envy 17, even on the lowest fan setting. Replaceable fans, fairly quiet on lower settings. Cable management feature is a plus. But... if you also wanted it for the USB 3.0 ports, hopefully you don't have the issues I have experienced.

Cons: USB 3.0 ports/hub constantly disconnect devices from my laptop. I keep hearing the connect/disconnect sound made when plugging a USB device into my laptop. Transferring larger media files from my USB hard drives is almost impossible because of the disconnects. My mouse also has issues when plugged into the notebook cooler, sometimes requiring a reboot before it will recognize the devices connected via the notebook cooler. I never experience any of these problems if I plug the USB devices directly into my laptop, so I know the cooler is the problem. AC adapter cable could be a tad longer as well.

Overall Review: LEDs look neat, but you can turn them off if you don't care about the "bling" factor. HP Envy 17, Windows 7 Pro x64

Works... sometimes7/7/2011 2:38:02 PM

Pros: Installed in my wife's PC that I just built for her home office. Inexpensive. Small profile.

Cons: Would constantly disconnect from my wifi network. My laptop and HTPC have no disconnect issues on the same wifi network, so I know it is a problem with this adapter. Would have to disable, then re-enable adapter to re-establish a wifi connection. Sometimes we would even have to reboot the PC.

Overall Review: I tried various drivers and solutions posted by other reviewers, but could never get a constant signal connection. At least it was cheap so I wasn't out too much money.

Good Idea but lacks printer Supoprt4/2/2011 10:50:39 AM

Pros: Wireless Print Server. Setup isn't too bad, fairly simple to configure. Mine came with a User Guide that helped with the set up process.

Cons: I was able to set up the device, and it shows my printer (HP LaserJet P1006) under the printer status tab of the on the web based utility, but when I print nothing happens. The job just sits in the printer queue. Tried from 2 different PCs, both of which have no problem printing to that specific printer via a USB connection. Needs to support more printers for this device to be useful.

Overall Review: Checked the support forums, and sure enough the HP LaserJet P1006 is not on the supported printer list. I have had the printer for just over a year (Excellent Laser Printer), so I don't see why they wouldn't support a fairly new printer. I Returned the ZPW4000.

Great for Media Storage1/23/2011 10:46:41 PM

Pros: Huge Capacity. I needed more space for my movie drive in my HTPC, and this HDD is the perfect size. Quiet, responsive, and doesn't run too hot.

Cons: None so far.

Overall Review: Works great with both Windows 7 32 & 64 bit. Just plugged them in, and was off to transferring my movie collection over to them. I already have a 3TB external to back up this HDD, so I am good to go. Ridiculous to see some commenters marking the large capacity as a negative.

Great design but not powerful enough12/7/2010 7:50:03 AM

Pros: Great Design, and very small AC adapter. Lots of different connectors.

Cons: Advertised to work up to 150w. My HP Envy 17 requires a 120w AC Adapter. This one will not power on the notebook. Powers up for about 3 seconds then shuts off with this adapter. Will only charge the battery if the notebook is turned off.

Overall Review: Purchased this as a backup/travel AC Adapter since it is so small and portable. Too bad it doesn't work for larger desktop replacements. Sending it back.

Great N Adapter for Win 7 x647/14/2010 6:47:02 AM

Pros: Easy setup. Windows 7 x64 automatically installed the correct drivers. Excellent signal strength and getting 300 Mbps constant connection speed. Haven't dropped my wifi connection once since I have had it installed.

Cons: None

Overall Review: Used this to replace a Linkys Wireless N card that kept dropping my wifi signal. Probably due to the fact that Linksys hadn't updated their driver for the card since 2007. D-Link makes a great product, and their drivers are up to date. Great all around Wireless N adapter.

Good UBS 3.0 Add-on7/14/2010 6:43:17 AM

Pros: Adds USB 3.0 to my EVGA X58 Classified Mobo. Works just like it should. FAST! Relatively inexpensive. Doesn't require and separate power connection like other USB 3.0 cards.

Cons: None

Overall Review: I bought this directly from EVGA when it came out. Glad to see it on Newegg.

Great WiFi Adapter3/25/2010 8:17:55 AM

Pros: Price. Even though its refurbished, the price is still a great deal. Excellent signal quality. Easy setup, and Windows 7 x64 automatically installs the needed driver.

Cons: None so far

Overall Review: I bought this to replace a more expensive WiFi adapter from another manufacturer that kept dropping my signal. The new adapter works great and hasn't given me a bit of trouble.

Great Dedicated PhysX Card6/8/2009 8:37:12 AM

Pros: Single slot, quite fan, low power consumption. Works great as a dedicated PhysX card. Increased my FPS by 20% on CryoStasis using this card solely for PhysX, while my other video card handled the rest of the graphic rendering.

Cons: None

Overall Review: Does what its supposed to.

Works Great with New Ear Buds3/24/2009 9:57:26 AM

Pros: Excellent sound quality on both sides of the conversation. My car is noisy, but when talking to my wife on this headset, she couldn't even tell I was driving. Noise Assassin technology works very well, and the speaker is plenty loud even in noisy environments. Make sure you get the new ear buds available on the Jawbone web site. They are free but charge $2.99 for shipping. They are soooo much better than the cr@ppy stock ear bud this unit comes with, are more comfortable, and stay in better eliminating the need fo the ear hook/loop. These New Fit earbuds make the Jawbone II a much better product.

Cons: Under the product specifications tab it states: "Package include 4 different ear loops and 3 ear buds for comfortable fit options... " This is not true. Mine came with only 1 ear bud and 1 ear loop. Not really a deal breaker since I tossed them in favor of the New Fit ear buds available on their web site for free. My only other gripe is that finding the precise location of the "hidden" buttons can be frustrating at first, but after a day or two of use, it is no longer an issue.

Overall Review: Overall I am very pleased with this headset when used with the New Fit ear buds. I previously used a Plantronics 665, and the Jawbone II has better sound quality on both ends of the conversation, better range, and a more comfortable fit with the new ear buds.

Not E0 Stepping Yet9/3/2008 9:17:27 PM

Pros: Great processor. But with EO stepping its supposed to be even better.

Cons: I ordered mine on August 25th thinking that since it was past the Aug 22 release date, I would get the E0 stepping Q9550. I was wrong. Mine is SLAWQ = C1. It still performs well, as mentioned in my other review below, but it could have been even better if I would have received an E0 version. Disappointing. I hate that I spent $$$ and didn't get the version I wanted.

Overall Review: If you are waiting to get your hands on an E0 version, hold out for some kind of verification that it is shipping from Newegg. If you don't care about the new version, the C1 still performs well, and its at a great price.

Great Overclocking CPU9/3/2008 12:03:37 PM

Pros: I absolutely love how well this CPU overclocks. Not only was I able to get it to hit 4.0GHz on my EVGA 780i, but I was able to do it using only 1.475v, and it idles at only 45 degrees C. Load was obviously hotter, but still in the safe zone. I don't keep it at this speed 24/7, but even at 3.6GHz using only 1.325v, this thing is an excellent performer and at 100% load only hits 55 degrees C max with my liquid cooling setup.

Cons: None so far.

Overall Review: Blows my Q6700 away in performance, overclocking, and heat output.

Great RAM Cooler2/26/2008 7:58:56 AM

Pros: Cools my 4GB of DDR2 800MHZ very well running running OC at 950MHz. The fan seems to be pretty quiet as well. This is a inexpensive option for cooling overclocked RAM.

Cons: None

Overall Review: I disassembled the unit and spray painted the outer casing a glossy black. I wasn't a fan of the chrome look and now it matches the black PCB of my EVGA 780i Motherboard.

Great Laser Printer for the Price2/25/2008 11:06:41 PM

Pros: Basic Laser Printer does what its supposed to. Work great with both 32 & 64 bit versions of Vista. Using this for documents in my home office when i don't need to get fancy with my Color Laser Jet. Good B&W print quality and much faster than my color ink jet.

Cons: None so far.

Overall Review: I got this for $50 after a Newegg newsletter Promo code. I already have a color laser jet but for that price, why not get this one as well.

Good addition for your Loop2/1/2008 8:02:39 AM

Pros: I added this to my current liquid cooling system loop (Thermaltake CL-W0121). I am cooling an overclocked CPU & overclocked EVGA 8800 Ultra with the Thermaltake CL-W0153 GPU water blcok, so I needed some extra cooling for the liquid. Space saving design, and does what its supposed to do. Easy installation.

Cons: None so far.

Overall Review: Very pleased with the performance of this radiator. To see pics of how I have this set up inside my PC check out:

Easy Liquid Coolong2/1/2008 7:55:24 AM

Pros: Using this to cool both my Quad Core processor and my EVGA 8800 Ultra using the Thermaltake CL-W0153 GPU Waterblock. Space saving design and has been running for months now with no leaks. Allows me to overclock both processor and gpu very well. Installation is a breeze.

Cons: The fan over the radiator can get kind of noisy if cranked all the way up, but can be replaced by a quieter one if so desired. I had to add a second radiator ( Thermaltake CL-W0021) to the loop to effectively cool my CPU & GPU since I am running such high overclocks.

Overall Review: Very pleased with the overall performance of this liquid cooling system. Has allowed me to overclock my components very well with minimal noise. Check out some pics of how I have it setup and my 3DMark score here:
