Pros: Got a great deal on this one... Haven't had a new laptop in a VERY long time, always did 2nd hand units. Love having a new one, and at a VERY nice price. I've been exclusively doing Dell of late, but am very impressed with the quality of this one, especially for the price. Love the 64 bit Win7, also installed 64 bit Ubuntu and setup as a dual boot. Ubuntu is VERY quick and light on it, works well, no driver issues, etc. Was easily able to partition the HD for it too. Runs very cool, have not noticed any sort of heat coming from it. The extra 1 year accidental damage coverage is a GREAT add...

Cons: the only issue is the location of the power plug on the back right... the 90 degree on the adapter may be the issue too. but all in all, a very minimal issue. It had its share of bloatware, but all that uninstalls very easily... Takes a little while to connect to my Buffalo N Router, not sure, but seems to be a Win7 issue with networking, as it works very quickly on Ubuntu, and none of the other PC's in the house have any issues connecting to it...

Overall Review: The exterior case is kinda neat, like a plastic diamond plate, but not chrome... Like the clarity of the screen, watched a portion of a DVD and noticed a few things in the movie I had not seen before... Overall, very satisfied with the quality of this one. Would definitely recommend it to others

Cons: received DOA, RMA'd it and sent it back. They found that it worked fine, and sent it back. When I received it again, it was DOA (again) I pulled it apart and found that the hard drive had become unseated in shipping because no one bothered to install any of the screws that hold the drive in place...

Overall Review: Suspect that was the issue in the first DOA case, as it was acting like a dead hard drive. Oh Well, still got a really nice laptop for a good deal. Lost 2 eggs due to the hard drive issue.

Pros: Love the 1G connections on both LAN and WAN input, providing your modem provides 1G as well... Mine does, YAY. Already on my 2nd unit, Buffalo Warranty replaced it already, was dropping all WiFi connections, wired connections were ok. Took about 2 weeks, but all good.

Cons: The BAD I have found with this one... The stock LAN cable that comes with the unit is NOT 1G friendly. Only does a 100M connection. Used one of my homemade, hand crimped Cat 6 Cables... worked like a champ. Would think that if you're selling a router with 1G ports, the provided cord would give 1G Speeds

Overall Review: Great to have 1G connection throughout, from the modem to my server and my movie PC and Roku.

Pros: great little box... didn't realize that it has a built in battery. Great deal for the price. Picture and everything was to be as expected, better to have the kids watching their movies on this than on my laptop all the time.

Cons: I think that the car cigarette adapter doesn;t work... once the battery on the unit died, I was unable to make it work on the car adapter. Once I plugged it in when we got back home, it fired right back up. Thought it was totally dead, that's how I found that it had its own internal battery.

Pros: bought 3 of these, one for each of my work and personal laptop bags, so I don't always have to search for which bag has it in it. I paid less for these 3 cables than I would have for 1 anywhere else. Another great NewEgg deal!

Cons: this time egg saver shipping was a little slower than expected and has been for me in the past.

Pros: Always leery buying recertified "stuff" but bought the 2 year extended warranty with it. Was great, no issues right out of the box. Needed for my wife's new business.

Cons: Didn't come with Win 7 Pro... had to redo it with Win 7 Pro, wasn't an issue though. Kept all my Home Premium disks, in case they are needed later on.
