Pros: Great value, bought with as a "Shell Shocker" buy.

Cons: All is OK with the motherboard. This is a great board. Most of the neg posts are because the bios was not updated to the most recent or the had the wrong voltage settings for the RAM.

Overall Review: Check the voltage of your RAM. I bought RAM with package from Newegg /OCZ and had to Set DRAM Voltage to 1.65 volts. Default settings gave errors when installing Windows. Allways check with RAM mfg and set to their recommendations (sometimes this is on the label on the RAM). Had I known this I would have saved hours in trying to install properly. Not a fault of ASUS, just a heads up for you.

Pros: This is my third board, had two previous RMA's. Takes too long to RMA, many phone calls to get a result, now this board has worked ok for one year.

Cons: See pro's---works ok, if it quits under warranty, do not expect a easy result. Their service sub contracter appears to want multiply phone calls, an ex employee said they were paid for each call and wanted users to call multiple times.

Overall Review: Currently sent email to Asus to get help on my home computer now down 1 month with no "light in the tunnel" as far as help from Asus. I will file in small claims court next week, getting no where with Asus. Perfect help with issue on phone by support staff, just no back up in getting board replaced in timely matter. I've asked for advance shipment of other Asus board with noting back in email other than an email acknowledging warranty coverage just no information on what they will do to get me another board. I even requested to pay for an upgraded board and told they do not do that after on another phone call they said that might be possible. Sorry to be so negative, after years of good service from Asus, and just horrible, unacceptable service this past year from Asus and their sub contracted service company.

Pros: Asus quality build, reliability. I like their web site for updates, etc.

Cons: Box should include common errors in setup such as (or at least have tech support tell you when you call and board will not post); use USB 2 not USB 3 for wired keyboard and mouse. Use regular VGA output instead of digital or HDMI until you have it up and running with correct drivers etc. These above two tips, which I goggled, after hours with tech support and trying to RMA this board, as far as I know they still have none in stock since I have been trying to RMA for over 2 months.

Overall Review: Need more hands on experience and communication. All I was told did not help with the problem which was the two issues above, usb 2 port and needing to set up using regular VGA output. (see cons)

Pros: low power usage, runs cool

Cons: price of course, and you do get what you pay for.

Overall Review: Much of the issues with this chip and 1155 cpu motherboard issues are because this newer tech requires a little more knowledge to build, getting the right drivers, etc. A good tip to set up is to; 1) use regular VGA port instead of HDMI or digital (change to after you have up and running) 2) use usb 2 not 3 outputs wired for keyboard and mouse till after you have up and running. Then install wireless or use the usb 2 outlets. These two tips would have saved me a lot of time had I known when I first installed.

Pros: Price, 25" image, thin frame, bright, clear picture, IPS, low energy usage.

Cons: Not a strong con, just know it is a glossy screen, my last monitor was a more satin finish (less glare).

Overall Review: Very happy with purchase, may purchase another. Bought for security camera usage, decided instead to use as my primary monitor which did cost more 2 years ago.

Pros: First MSI, Excrellent Experience, have owned 2 yrs, since Dec of 2010. Reliable, easy to update bios, nothing negative after owning all Asus boards.

Overall Review: After buying all Asus motherboards (more than 10) and stumbling with their support by phone, (farmed out to another company, not Asus employees) more interested in telling you it is your falt, not motherboards, I have chosen to go back and give this workhorse mother board a 5 star review. MSI website has been excellent for updates. I use this 5 days a week, 9 hrs each day.
