it works
Pros: It works
Cons: none so far
Overall Review: I bought this for a Dell T3400 - plugged it in, and it's been going every since.
greate monitor, great price
Pros: Clear, bright screen, good contrast ratio, more useful aspect ratio than 1900 x 1080. I have not used the speakers, but the fact that they are included at this price is all the better.
Cons: A feature I would like is rotation, but this does not detract from my rating.
Overall Review: I just bought three of these, and I'm very happy with them. I really like the 1900 x 1200 resolution and the aspect ratio - it's much more useful for work than a couple of 1080p resolution monitors I bought. I was worried the 25.5" would be a little pixelated, but it's fine.
reliable and reasonably fast
Pros: Pretty reliable - I have bought 70+ of these drives mostly for RAID arrays, and had one that died. The RAID runs much faster than with my old WD 500GB drives. I had to upgrade the 3ware firmware on one of the controllers 9650 series), but the older controller works fine (9550 series). I have a few in external USB cases and they run cooler than the Hitachi 1TB, but I would still make sure they go in a metal case with a fan.
Cons: Very minor, but for me would have been easier if the drives were set for 3 Gbps (or even better have no jumpers at all)
Overall Review: The large capacity is great, but it takes a long time to write 1TB...
Pros: This enclosure keeps the drives cool, more so that at least 6 other external cases I have tried. I've had two of these for ~1 year and just bought two more. The casing is always cool, the fan is quiet, and it is quite stable on its base. They come with an internal-to-external SATA connector, plus eSATA cable. Connecting the drives is easy, just plug in, no cables to connect.
Cons: They don't look as cool as other cases, the "on/off" switch is small.
Overall Review: I did not have any problems with the screws - I actually used my own "regular" screws for attaching the drive as the provided ones need a small philips screwdriver. I also find the drives to be pretty secure inside the case, so I didn't have the problems other reviewers describe.
