One year and still fine.3/13/2011 7:07:03 PM

Pros: They've been working for about a year now with no issues. I didn't know at the time of the purchase that CL8 is better than the standard CL9 RAM so I guess that's worth a mention.

Cons: I bought them when they were $100. I also had to change the voltage and timings in the BIOS, which was a pain but necessary.

Overall Review: The product page is incorrect. It says the voltage is 1.55 to 1.75 but if you look on the sticks of RAM they say 1.65 to 1.75. Set the voltage to 1.65 and set the timings to 8 and you should have no problems. I think this may be the root cause of so many negative reviews. Very few people seem to know that Windows 7 comes with a memtest program. So if you have Win 7, after you set the voltage and timings go into the start menu, type in "memtest", and run the program.

Pros: It works and passed memtest.

Cons: None. I had to change the timings and bus speed in the BIOS but that was to be expected.

ECS is pretty good.3/18/2010 4:56:24 PM

Pros: Worked right out of the box. Had to change the timings and bus so the RAM would read properly but I expected I would have to. I have have two older computers with ECS boards that still work well so I trust this company.

Cons: BIOS is a little difficult to use but this is common with a lot of motherboards.

Overall Review: I'm getting a graphics card soon so I can play games but the onboard video is good enough for daily use. Logisys 575 watt power supply Western Digital 320GB 7200 PRM Hard Drive AMD Athlon II Propus 630 4GB A-Data 1333G (2 kits for 8GB)
