Pros: - 10 yr warranty - small - fully modular
Cons: - none that I can find
Overall Review: Little is known about the Ion+ line from fractal, but deep researching led me to pick these over some of the better known brands. I think a 10yr warranty should speak volume alone. The unit comes very well packaged, the cables are flexible, and the fan curve for the zero RPM mode is such that unless you are gaming/transcoding or something, the fan won't turn on below 300 watt load. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. I didn't get the 660p model because Newegg didn't have it and now I see this one is sold out. Coming from an OCZ Gold 850watt that lasted me 9yrs.
Very good product.
Pros: All the pros mentioned by all users. It is huge but so cool. Packaging is awesome.Temperatures are great. Running a de-lidded 4790K at 4.8Ghz 1.31vcore 24/7 for a week now and max temps under load dont break 71C.Mind these temps were while using high end stress programs, normal windows use wont even make it get close, maybe Adobe Premiere video encoding. My idle temps have dipped to a min of 25/22/24/25 C. Room temperature is 21-23C. UNREAL!!!!
Cons: not available in the canada store. i live in canada but got this sent to family in Florida then forwarded to me. Have to play a little with the screw-driver included to fall right into the screw but no biggie.
Overall Review: I wanted to leave this review for the R1 ultimate but it is not available anymore. I think its the same as this one. Either way, these coolers are very very good. I highly recommend it to anyone. To those thinking of CLC(all in one water coolers) dont bother, you risk having pump issues. Get one of these and set your fan profiles to min speeds and you will have a near silent pc.
Soo good!
Pros: Mounts into 120mm holes. It looks cool. Pushes a lot of air. Looks cool again. PWM. can't go wrong with that. Packaging is very professional and comes with a classy VIP(register your product) card.
Cons: they aren't available on the Canadian Newegg site so I had to order it to my dad's in Florida and he sent it up.
Overall Review: I bought the Cryorig R1 Ultimate which comes with two fans. In order to have the same volume going out the back of the case I got this fan and added as a back exhaust and Y-split it into one of the cooler's fans on the CPU_opt connector from my motherboard.
