Pros: Reasonably priced for what it does. I found the best price at newegg. Have gotten some good use out of the oven. Economical, too- uses only about 1/5 the kilowatt hours of my conventional oven, but it will cook some food just as well as the big appliance. (Don't expect quite as much browning as from a broiler element, if that's important to you) Way better than a microwave, in some ways. It's a more natural way to cook food.
Cons: The 'kill switch', which is supposed to activate when the handle is pulled up, has failed in my unit. Obviously, it has failed 'shorted', as the oven still works, regardless of handle position. Cheaply made electrical contacts, when switching high load currents, can and do weld, on occasion. Under those circumstances, if the timer has any time left on it and you're plugged in, you're running. Personally, I consider this only a minor nuisance. I'm very careful, however. This unit deserves the same respect you'd give an electric space heater, which *could* become a fire hazard if used carelessly. Used stupidly, this appliance could probably be just as dangerous, even *with* a working kill switch! Anyone with an ounce of common sense will never have such problems with this unit. The enclosure gets quite hot in normal use. Give it a little elbow room on your counter.
Overall Review: Newegg gets a five star rating from me. Excellent prices and service. They get a lot of repeat business from me.
