Finally a 4TB unit

Pros: --excellent extended write performance --reasonable price for the size --good warranty
Cons: none for now
Overall Review: I was buying 4TB Firecuda 530's, since this unit is cheaper, I plan to switch to these, if the performance proves out over time.
Works on Win10, mostly works on Win7

Pros: -no drivers needed on win 10 -OK if all you have is a spare PCIe X1 slot
Cons: -Depends on the motherboard. AMD mother boards mostly work for win7. Could only get 3 of the 4 drives to work on Win7 machines. Intel mother boards could onl;y get 1 or 2 driver to be consistently recognised. -Slow I/O speeds ( consistently about 1/2 to 2/3 max actual SATA speeds) -Only PCIE2x1 connection
Overall Review: Maybe my particular mother boards / sys setup aren't compatible with this card. The price isn't bad, but I ultimately went with a PCIE3x4 JM585 chip based card that maxed out the SATA bus I/O and had 4K data buffers on each drive. The JM585 based board I finally used work perfectly on the AMD Win7 system and also needed no drivers.
a solid power supply

Pros: -consistent high quality over the years -reasonable price with no unnecessary frippery -reliability better than most other vendors -modular
Cons: none
Overall Review: been buying these for years and will continue to do so
Actual speeds are close to advertized speeds

Pros: -reasonably priced, speeds are real, good quality over past 2 years of purchases -decent retractable usb mechanism, Good USB socket fit 256GB 1.2GB files: (write)180-280MB/s, 50MB files: 50-120MB/s ; read 330MB/s constant 128GB 1.2GB files: (write) 80-170MB/s, 50MB files: 40-75MB/s (sweet spot for price/performance) 64GB 1.2GB files: (write) 65-98MB/s, 50MB files: 30-50MB/s
Cons: none so far
Overall Review: Purchased 2x 64GB, 1x 128GB, 1x 256GB sticks These will be my regular USB sticks from now on. Better priced than Samsung, and much better performance then most other sticks. Note: Samsung higher end sticks seems to have more consistent high speeds
Its OK, but actual speed is not what the package says.

Pros: -Speed is pretty good at 120MB/sec transferring 12GB of larger video files on a 10Gb C port. But not even close to the advertised spec. on the box. -Hope the Samsung reliability is there...only time will tell. -Agree with general customer review ratings, as this drive performs better than most other units.
Cons: -Package says up to400MB/sec only got 120MB/sec. I even tried to transfer larger files to see if it improved...nope. I did mot misread the package label speed. -No string to hold the cap to the body so it doesn't get lost
Overall Review: Too expensive for the size/ actual speed of drive. Cheaper alternatives out there, however you have to look for them. I bought the Samsung brand because of the quality and specs of the SATA and NVME memory. However this doesn't live up to the reputation for speed. Hopefully the quality is there...only time will tell.
Paid a premium price for nothing

Pros: -small unit -Can only hope that the Samsung quality is there. Only time will tell.
Cons: Package says up to 300MB/sec only got 34MB/sec. I even tried to transfer large files to see if it improveed...nope. I did mot misread the package. Now if it read 300Mb/ sec (megabits), it would be right on the mark. -No string to hold the cap to the body so it doesn't get lost
Overall Review: not worth the money.
Typical Noctua quality
-products are very quiet -moves a lot of air -always easy to do business with...
Loudly moves a lot of air
This is a INDUSTRIAL rated fan (says so on the box)... sound level is not usually an industrial concern. DO NOT recommend for PC builds. Way too noisy above about 30% fan speed. Fan is well built and should last as long as other Noctua products.
Works
-reasonable price -good solid case as a heat sink
