A wonderful compromise

Acer Aspire 15.6" Intel Core 2 Duo T6500 4GB Memory DDR3 1066 Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit LX.PDR0X.051
Acer Aspire 15.6" Intel Core 2 Duo T6500 4GB Memory DDR3 1066 Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit LX.PDR0X.051

Pros: 1) Screen: Clear, bright, and easy on the eyes. 2) Construction: Not a rock but not cheap. (Fits the price) 3) Keys: Actually an amazingly nice keyboard to type on. 4) Sound: Quality, still coming from small speakers though. 5) Graphics: Rocks WoW's world. Mileage may vary. 6) Processor: Never seems to bog down. 7) Memory: Vista is still snappy.

Cons: 1) Touch Pad: Needs to be 1/2 inch to the right. 2) USB: No rear. Right side is too far forward. 3) Bluetooth: None :( 4) Finger Prints?: No. Seriously get over them.

Overall Review: You have to make very few compromises for the price on this Laptop. You get a stellar platform and are probably saving nearly $500.00 from other similar models. Finger Prints: Yeah they are there. Just get over it or buy a key cover. The keyboard is really very nice to type on. If you have weak wireless signal one of your antenna has probably just disconnected. Flip the laptop over and open up the smaller access panel. Plug it back in. Free Windows 7 upgrade: http://www.acer.com/windows7upgrade/index.html Do yourself a favor and just completely reinstall Vista. Then go to acer's website and download the software components you want. If you get warnings that you are trying to install 32 bit drivers on a 64 bit system just make sure you have the correct version of windows selected on the downloads page. Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase. Price and features vs Downsides definitely a 5-star product.

Fantastic Monitor

ViewSonic 17" Active Matrix, TFT LCD SXGA LCD Monitor 3ms gray-to-gray (avg.); 6ms white-black-white (typ) D-Sub, DVI-D X Series VX724
ViewSonic 17" Active Matrix, TFT LCD SXGA LCD Monitor 3ms gray-to-gray (avg.); 6ms white-black-white (typ) D-Sub, DVI-D X Series VX724

Pros: After a lot of research I settled on this Monitor. To say the least I love it. Very Sharp picture. Text is wonderful to read. Casing Looks very stylish. And is fantastic for Gaming. No dead pixels. Pay for Fedex btw its worth protecting your investment.

Cons: The colors are still not as rich and deep as you will get with a CRT monitor, but I feel this will almost always be the case with LCD screens. The bottom inch of the screen is slightly brighter than the rest of but not really an issue.

Overall Review: Still loving it!

So far Great!

ViewSonic 17" Active Matrix, TFT LCD SXGA LCD Monitor 3ms gray-to-gray (avg.); 6ms white-black-white (typ) D-Sub, DVI-D X Series VX724
ViewSonic 17" Active Matrix, TFT LCD SXGA LCD Monitor 3ms gray-to-gray (avg.); 6ms white-black-white (typ) D-Sub, DVI-D X Series VX724

Pros: I recieved the monitor last night. Hooked it up and everything works fantastically! No dead pixels. Haven't gamed on it yet, hopefully will today. A note of advice. To anyone who is receiving damaged products do yourself a favor and pay the couple extra bucks and upgrade to FedEx. This is especially important for sensitive items such as monitors!

Cons: The only problem I have with it right now is that the bottom inch of the screen is slightly brighter than the top inch. Not a big deal.

Overall Review: Viewsonic Consistently makes a great product. And at this price this monitor is a steal!
