Pros: Good bang for your buck on performance.

Cons: These should come with drive trays but HP doesn't even tell you what part number to use for the trays and doesn't appear to sell them individually as far as I can tell. I had to buy mine at another parts wholesaler (e bay).

Overall Review: I bought 4 of these - 2 for a home lab and 2 for customers. Thankfully my customer's work fine and one of mine does, but one of mine won't even complete POST after 2 weeks. I got in touch with HP's support and was reminded just how HORRIBLE it is. At least when I buy a Dell server and have a problem, they are intelligent and don't waste your time. I am still sitting on hold right now for them to realize I need the motherboard replaced... Unbelievable. I wish I had gotten around to RMAing this with NewEgg instead. They ROCK and don't waste your time calling India and waiting on hold forever.

Pros: Cheap price.

Cons: Where do I begin! I bought 12 of these for a few RAID systems. 2 arrived DOA. 4 more failed within the first month and a half. TOTALLY not going to buy another Hitachi. These suck!

Pros: Not much.

Cons: Warranty problems. If you don't get around to registering the card within 30 days, you don't get their "lifetime warranty" at all. The quality of many of their fans suck also. Beware.
