GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 970 4GB G1 GAMING OC EDITION, GV-N970G1 GAMING-4GD
GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 970 4GB G1 GAMING OC EDITION, GV-N970G1 GAMING-4GD

Pros: I am rating this card from its 1080p gaming capabilities so none of what you are about to read relates at all to: video editing or gaming in 4k(or gaming above 1080p for that matter). Pros: *performance: >Overclocks like a champ; gpu goes from 1178-1400mhz no sweat. feels like it can go a bit further as well. >stays cool and stable at overclocked speeds under heavy load (as long as you set its fans on the appropriate speeds while its overclocked and under load) >a bit on the quiet side(even under heavy load a bit impressive seeing how many fans it has) max temp I've seen while gaming is an even 50°C(stays insanly cold while not under load 27°C) >Plenty of vram and at a decent bus width with 4096mb gddr5 dedicated >Will play any game you feed it to on the highest settings at 1080p(Even the Witcher 3) at more than acceptable frames per second. >banner on the card is animated just use geforce experience app and youll find it(which is a lovely aesthetic touch) >Geforce experience creates a much more personalized gaming experience with its game optimization feature *design: >card has a solid build(reminds me of die-cast car lol) >3x fans dissipate heat very well they do their job no problem >heat sink performs as well as you'd think based on how big it is >back plate is beautiful and reduces stress on the card from its massive cooler also, it reflects the care and consideration Gigabyte took when constructing this card to ensure sturdy design If you want to play the newest titles at max or near max settings @1080p get this card its worth every cent.

Cons: Cons: >will bottle neck lower end cpu's running at low speeds I have a FX6300 and have to OC from 3.5ghz to 4.3ghz to even it out which is reasonable(Its gone after that to). I'm sure a new i5 or i7 will not have this issue at all. >Wont hold me when I'm lonely

Overall Review: I upgraded from an XFX HD7700 GHZ Edition. And this was obviously a massive uprgrade. If you are reading this and you are a gamer. Get this card, rest assured you are not getting ripped of f. It will game hard and for years to come. There have been alot of so-so reviews on this card and it seems people cant give it fair review. Maybe because it stands behind the GTX 980. So let me clear things up: *Ahem; This card is absolutely worth what you pay, and yes you can play new titles on it @ settings higher then what consoles would have. The only thing you are really losing is the bragging rights of owning a GTX 980 THE END!

Cooler Master MasterAir MA410M Addressable RGB CPU Air Cooler w/ Independently LEDs, 4 Continuous Direct Contact 2.0 Heatpipes, Aluminum Fins, Push-Pull, Dual MF120R 120mm Fans, AMD Ryzen/Intel1151

Pros: It sure looks pretty. Works with msi mystic lighting.

Cons: Performance wise this thing is worse than the hyper 212 evo. Cpu temps are 10c higher then a hyper 212.

Overall Review: For a couple dollars more you could get a closed loop water cooler. I wouldnt recommend this cooler to anyone.

Great power supply very stable.

CORSAIR RMx Series (2021) RM850x CP-9020200-NA 850 W ATX12V / EPS12V 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Full Modular Power Supply

Pros: It's modular! it's quiet! It's stable!

Cons: A 3rd pcie cable could be provided for cards that take 3 8pin connectors, for power distribution.

Overall Review: At first I thought this was a bad psu, I ordered an rtx 3080 and it was crashing my pc constantly and giving me a kernel power failure code in even viewer. When I set the card up I had a spare pcie cable so that way I had 3 total pcie cables to even out the load. After extensive testing and swapping out the rtx 3080 for an equally power hungry r9 390 my system ran fine. Then I doubled down swapped psus entirely for a spare corsair cx 750 I had laying around, and tested both cards. The trusty r9 390 ran great, the rtx 3080 gave me the same results of crashing shortly after starting a game. Thus helping me with diagnosing my system. Great power supplies, never had a problem with them!!

5 star review was a mistake!!!

GIGABYTE AORUS GeForce RTX 3080 MASTER 10GB GDDR6X PCI Express 4.0 ATX Video Card GV-N3080AORUS M-10GD (rev. 3.0) (LHR)

Pros: Works great for a short while and then doesnt. Great paperweight!!! Flashy rgb lights!!!!

Cons: EVENT 41 CATEGORY 63!!(THAT MEANS IT DOESNT WORK!) ARTIFACTS WHILE ON DESKTOP. GAMES FOR A MINUTE THEN THE COMPUTER FREEZES AND RESTARTS.

Overall Review: I am highly dissatisfied with this product. It took almost 2 years to track down a new card, read reviews, compare benchmarks, and make a sound decision. My pc is up to specs has an adequate power supply, cooling, and all the bells and whistles. I have to begin the RMA processes now. This is completely unacceptable and infuriating. Gigabyte you have let me down big time. As I typed this review the text on my monitor is distorting. Words cannot describe how mad I really am.

Its got space for days!! it sure is majestic alright!

DEEPCOOL MATREXX 70 ADD-RGB 3F Mid-Tower Case 3x120mm ADD-RGB Fans Modular design Full-size Tempered Glass GPU Vertical Installation Quick Open Panels
DEEPCOOL MATREXX 70 ADD-RGB 3F Mid-Tower Case 3x120mm ADD-RGB Fans Modular design Full-size Tempered Glass GPU Vertical Installation Quick Open Panels

Pros: It looks amazing! Cable management allows for all types of configurations. It has a glass basement. This thing will fit anything you put in it(any sized video card, most radiators, reservoirs, and motherboards). more then ample room to work with. Its argb system works with MSI Mystic Lighting motherboards and provides adapters for other mainstream mother boards that have different types of addressable lighting sockets/pins(this case got you covered). For the price its amazing. Everything feels premium, and sturdy. From the pcie cut outs to the front fans it feels rock solid. dust filters work great im a heavy smoker and the filters do a great job of keeping dust/soot out.

Cons: its a fingerprint magnet so don't touch it(its glass so you already knew that). I would consider this case a bit heavy for most people, but once it arrives you'll see why. It's a big case despite being a mid tower. I didnt get my Deepcool badge thats supposed to be on the side argb strip(Id appreciate it if Deepcool would send me one).

Overall Review: Heres a picture of my completed build. specs are as follow: CPU: Ryen 5 3600 Cooler: CoolerMaster MasterLiquid ML240L 240mm radiator RAM: 16GB G.skill Ripjaw V Motherboard: MSI X570 Gaming Edge Wifi SSD: 500GB Western Digital Blue GPU: XFX R9 390 PSU(hidden in the basement): Corsair RM750W HDD(hidden in the basement ): HDD 2TB Western Digital Blue Everything fits nicely and there is plenty of room for expansion. I would like to see future models have pre drilled left side panels for mounting 120 mm fans Some people say that a complete glass front restricts air flow but it doesn't the side and bottom intakes work great and pull in lots of air just remember to vacuum them from time to time.

Great performance, but....

AMD Ryzen 5 3rd Gen - RYZEN 5 3600 Matisse (Zen 2) 6-Core 3.6 GHz (4.2 GHz Max Boost) Socket AM4 65W 100-100000031BOX Desktop Processor
AMD Ryzen 5 3rd Gen - RYZEN 5 3600 Matisse (Zen 2) 6-Core 3.6 GHz (4.2 GHz Max Boost) Socket AM4 65W 100-100000031BOX Desktop Processor

Pros: Cpu performance is amazing it crushes everything i throw at it with ease. Great for gaming, regular computer use, and both at the same time.

Cons: This thing is a thermal nightmare maybe i have a bad chip. But im not happy with the temps I am seeing. This cpu is running at 4.2ghz and currently being cooled by a 240mm cooler master water cooler. And idle temps as im writing this are between mid 40s and high 50s, when gaming it stays between 60-75c. It has reached dangerous temperatures many times(95c). And tripped the thermal shutdown i configured in core temp. Im an experienced builder. Everything is assembled as it should be, My case has adequate airflow and the thermal paste has been properly applied. The motherboard chipset is an x570, the cpu has a more then adequate psu I would really like for AMD to get into contact with me regarding this issue and shed some light on the situation because none of this makes sense to me. On a side note i have an fx6300 @4.2 on a 120mm cooling system and it runs much cooler and has more stable temps. And its way more power hungry and hotter then the ryzen series

Overall Review: Its great but i just dont know about these temps. Maybe its just my specific chip but who knows!
