Pros: Certainly an improvement from a 8 pixel pipeline of ATI X700 to this card. This gets an avg of 80-100 FPS in CS:S on 1600X1200 with all HIGH settings. Wonderful for the games *I* play, dont know about the others. Certainly a good buy if you dont have a monster power supply, and its easily overclockable. With Coolbits had optimal settings detected at 533/1.22, which I backed down due to some artifacts. But that's still close to a 15% OC!!! Ran a little hot 50C when OCed but fan is very quiet. Plently of cables, and EVGA support and step up program to upgrade your card and get full credit for what you paid within 90 days of purchase.

Cons: Very long board, had to reconfigure my HD bays in an Antec case to fit. The step up program is a *one time* program and you have to purchase thru evga, dunno how their prices compete with newegg's... cause no one beats newegg with service and choices.

Overall Review: I think if you are stretching your wallet for a card that will last you 6 months to a year and wait for the next generation, this card will certainly do it. 7000 series are certainly better, but they cost more $$$ obviously. This card will amply makes games available now playable as far as rez and FPS. If you are concerned with longevity 1 year or longer, then I would go with the 7000 series to play games that will require the extra pixel pipelines, etc.

Pros: Looks nice

Cons: Board would seldom not post on a warm restart. Then the board would not post at all. Bought a new X99 to replace the old but the new board wouldn't post at all. Brought my rig to a computer repair center, board is bad. Replaced with ASUS and has been running smoothly with all the same components. Tech mentioned EVGA is a good company for video cards, but new to the mobo business, and it shows.

Overall Review: Contacted customer support, no response.

Pros: Low-profile, worked for a bit in RAID 60

Cons: First, the design of the board has a major flaw, which is that the cable attachment hub is located on the underside of the board which doesnt allow the board to sit flush if it is next to a large video card. Definitely beats the purpose of a low profile board if you have to find a spacious slot on your MOBO. I had to fit it into a slow PCI-e slot 4X instead of 8X. Dont know if that made a difference but i never saw significant speed increases. This card would beep constantly of a temp warning.

Overall Review: I would look elsewhere for a 12-port RAID card, i have switch over to a 3ware 16 port, slightly more money but rock solid compared to this. The UI was not as simple as 3ware, and the RAID corrupted twice. I run windows off SSD, and use RAID 1+0 now for data.

Pros: Very easy install with fast data transfers. Upgrade from a 7200 RAID 0 configuration and put four of these raptors in RAID 5 and have seen an increase in performace. Even with 4 drives running, there is no significant increase in sound.

Cons: None, wish they would make bigger capacity drives with 10k RPMs.

Overall Review: I did read a review that the new 300G/s SATA-II drives in RAID 0 are giving the raptors for their money. If you are looking for capacity and have the hardware support for true SATA-II capability, you will be more storage for the $.
